These people are calling too many times a day. They are calling my employment, family and relatives, friends and etc.

Most of the above is BS. Debt Collectors could care less about laws or do-not-call lists or they can only call at certain times of day or they can't do this and that.

These guys are the mafia of the telephone system, and even if they are caught doing something they change their names, pick up and move down the street.

In short, the Government is hapless and useless in these cases. They're real good at passing all sorts of laws, but they can't even regulate themselves - much less a foot loose criminal with a bank of telephones. They've paid $mils to political campaigns, and they receive a look-the-other-way when it comes to enforcement.

Very few of these cases are ever heard. The FCC and other Consumer Protection Agencies are there just to employ 10s of thousands of gov't workers who do absolutely nothing, except go to lunch and pay union dues. So if you expect all this flowery must-do's that was cut-pasted [above] will really take place and be enforced, then you better go hide in the basement because you are in for a world of hurt.
