I have taken my accidental car to Swani Motors on 27th December 2010 for repairs and I was promised it to be delivered on 3rd January by Paint WorkShop Manager, Javir Singh. When I called on 2nd Jan to ask a time to pick the car on 3rd Jan I was tald to wait until 4th jan and then 5th Jan. Again on 5th January 2011. Reaching Jasvir on Phone had been a pain, he rarely picks his phone( once in few days) and never bothers to call back or inform on his own if the car is ready or delayed. It is you the customer who have to follow him dedicatedly to hear something!
After a long follow up finally phone was picked on 5th and was told it should be ready on 7th January and this is final promise and when I tried to call on 7th January almost after 2 hours phone was picked up and was told that now it will be ready for deliver on 10th morning positively as the car is going for paint.
And today since morning I was trying to reach Jasvir Singh on phone and I was told to be given an update on the time to pick up soon at 10 AM. Then now Jasvir's assistant Mr. Bhatia called me up telling that Jasvir has told him to call and inform me that car is going to paint now and should be ready for delivery tomorrow.
I am so frustrated and disappointed at this moment and have spoken to Jasvir at length about timely delivery of car as I had relatives visiting me from Canada and asked for one date as I was told of similar experiences by other customers on regular basis, that Swani Motors never deliver a car on time. he promised to believe me that things have improved now and I can pick the car without any 2nd date on 3rd of January.
I have tried to reach owner Mr. Gagandeep Singh Swani on his office and mobile phone given by receptionist, but to utter disappointment it went unanswered.
Not sure what to do, I am paying Rs. 2500 per day for taxi and at Swani Motors there is no one who can understand what Customer Service is? I am Swani Motors Customer for more than 11 years now and we have( friends and family) bought more than 12 cars from them including the servicing from them on regular basis.
