From the very beginning, working with Surrey Homes Orlando has been a frustrating and trying experience. An experience that I wish no new home buyer would ever have to go through. Whether while purchasing, building, or servicing their new home with any builder, regardless if if it's Surrey Homes Orlando or not, I pray that no one ever goes through the horrendous experience I have had with Surrey Homes Belle Vista Orlando. This is our fourth home we built brand new in the last 10 years. Luckily the other three from different builders, as should this have been our experience in our early 20's, we may have never purchased a new home again. Dealing with Surrey Homes has been, by far, WORST experience we have ever encountered with ANY company - let alone home builders.

We love the community, Surrey Homes Belle Vista Orlando, we love the people who reside here. Most importantly, we love the convenience and location of being in the Lake Conway area by residing at Belle Vista Orlando.

However, the experience and continuous headaches we have had to deal with Surrey Homes both in the building process and after has been a heartbreaking experience. All while they prioritize their new homes being built. It shows a lack of care and professionalism to the buyers of their product after they close on their homes and get a big check from the finance company.

With the numerous warranty issues that they show little care in expediting to fix: http://youtu.be/MSg5MBJIPZ0 (that's just a glimpse of what we have dealt with) - the only time you get some sense of urgency is when an attorney gets involved or possible media attention.

I believe with such a bad company philosophy that seems to be shared by the sales people, servicing people, management, and even principal of the company - a philosophy that I can't imagine standing the test of time. We will see if a company that started in 2009, like Surrey Homes USA, can survive with such poor customer service. Especially in such a building market today with a lot more experienced and competent builders that service the Central Florida area.

It just burns me up that a new home should be one of the most exciting and pleasurable purchases in your life. Every time I drive down the road and see all the workers slapping up the new homes quickly to be built at Surrey Homes Belle Vista Orlando while I have unfinished issues at my home that some have been going on since up to a year ago, I cringe walking through my doors and am so upset that I cannot enjoy living in this home. All thanks to the negligible customer service that Surrey Homes Orlando has provided.

I even went as far to ask the Servicing Manager at Surrey Homes in an email, "If you had a house closing 1 week from today, and it was closing on the last day of your quarter to put it on the books... would you have found this much difficulty getting everyone out there on the same day to get it done?"

Guess what?

Like most of my other questions... that question went unanswered...

Richard Swann runs the show over there. Not as President, but as managing director. He has his son, Christian, in the role of VP. Didn't you wonder why your closing happened at Swann&Hadley law firm? They own the title company too. If you're not aware of Richard Swann, here you go: http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/keyword/richard-swann
