My complaint involves my brand new 2021 hyundai palisade purchased by me in the month of march 2021, the issue was the driver side window fell inside the door and would not come back up. This happened on september 4, 2021, I live in northwestern ontario about 400 miles from the dealership that I bought the vehicle from. I made a appointment for september 7th, 2021 to have this fixed and travelled to thunder bay to have it taken care of. Keeping in mind that I had to take a day off from work in order to make the trip and get a hotel room overnight. The following day I went to my appointment and was told to wait in the waiting room which took 3 hours only to be informed that they had to order the part and that I would have to come back when to part was in. They put the plastic back in that I had taped to make the trip and I drove back home with my window still not fixed. I was told the window mechanism should be in oct.15, 2021 that was changed to oct.26, 2021. I called the dealership and spoke to someone and had requested to be reimbursed for my expenses hotel, gas, and cost for loss of a days work because I felt victimized not once but twice having to pay out of pocket for something I did not cause. He told me that I would get a call before days end about resolving the matter I waited for the call all day that was monday no call. Finally on friday I called again to find out what was going on? And informed the person is that how you treat your valued costumers that purchase a new vehicle off you. I have been lied to, given the run around and told head office is refusing to reimburse me for all my troubles I have kept all my receipts and have also given them copies of my expenses. I have kept my temper in check regarding this matter and have only been respectful when talking to personnel but enough is enough I would like this matter resolved with full reimbursement for my monies spent is all that I am asking. Vehicle was finally fixed oct 26th 2021 which I am grateful for because I love my palisade, but feel I was treated unjustly and will be taking my vehicle else where for servicing.
