It's probably too late to do anything about this but I purchased a used car from Sunrise Volkswagen of Fort Pierce that days later I found they advertised on Facebook for $5000 less than what I was forced to pay. After a 3-month public campaign with them they agreed to try to make it right. I got them to take back the car back in exchange for a different vehicle, at additional cost to me. I have screen shots of Facebook post and correspondence between us and plenty of proof to show, I am still out more than $5000. This happened on 2/12/21 and a post can still be found on their Facebook page of the car in question in posts from 2019. The way they got to 5000 over was pretty clever. I was told that I had to pay for dealer installed clear coat or I would not have been allowed to buy the car. This application is done to every car sold from this lot and is on the sales agreement by default. It cannot be removed. However, the sales contract I have for the next car has these items in a different order and named differently. I thought there was nothing more I could do so I walked away with my tail between my legs and the dealership laughing at me as I exited, unable to find an attorney to look at my complaint. I did not know about this complaint board until today or I might have been able to do something about it then. Then again...
Desired outcome: I would like a formal apology from the owner of this company and proper adjustments to make me whole.
