I went to subhiksha mobile 0n 25th september to buy a new mobile in exchange for my old mobile. I gave my old mobile Nokia 6260 to be valued to a sales man called DEVENDRA who said it would be taken for 3400/-. I told him I would return to buy a new on before 30th september since Subhiksha was giving a Two year warranty with mobiles. When I went on 28th September First he took a lot time in attending to me... So i myself with help from another sales man chose a mobile to be bought. After which i asked him to complete the transaction. He again took my mobile and asked as to what he had offered me for it. When I said3400/-, he faultily refused to accept it. He then told me he could now offer only 2500/-. After discussing with my husband fr few minutes, i went back and decided to go on with the transaction, he said his boys says only... 2300/-, i still agreed. But In few minutes he refused to exchange it all together... he said that his boss asked him not to exchange phones... there was no exchange offer... and that the vendors complain... MEANWHILE" He kept fiddling with MY NOKIA 6260 and kept checking it. Finally he even refused to apologize and also did not give his seniors number. He was rude also. Since then my Phone has developed some problem... it fails to start quite often altogether. He also tried to then make sell off the phone to some other consumer and also the subhiksha staff. He tried to cheat me and his colleagues as well when I told him that I would complain against him. No subhiksha employee was ready to give a seniors number or the office number. Now I have my mobile shut down permanently and also have lost on the opportunity to buy mobile during the double warranty period. My mobile also has been ruined by Mr.Devendra. I tried contacting some seniors through the number I manged to get from somebody but nobody picks it. No subhiksha employee is willing to help me. Stay away from this store!

I went to Subhiksha Mobile shop newly opened show room at No.94, Razaak Garden Main Road, Arumbakkam, Chennai 600 106 on 1.1.2008 and purchased one new mobile Nokia 3500 for Rs.6179/- alone without sim card. The salesman himself said to me that you are eligible for a New Year Gift Bag but due to New Year rush in the show room please come and collect the gift bag tomorrow. But I do not know this is a salesman cheating word. When I contacted twice for gift bag, the salesman said to me that I am not eligible for gift bag and only those who are purchased for Rs.10,000/- and above alone will eligible for gift bag. I am realy surprised, why the subhiksha people cheating me for gift bag worth below Rs.100/-. I am not expecting any gift for purchase from your concern at all. Thank you for your Customer care.

Please make a complaint at the consumer forum. lodge a complaint and claim compensation. The usual response would be "time kis ke pass hai". But please dont encourage such type of behavior from these people. Go forward with the complaint. I am sure it would be helpful.

If you can find a mobile cheap at Subhiksha, i am sure you will be able to find it cheaper elsewhere. Please do no get fooled by their FALSE advertising, it's all bull and more cr*p. http://cribb.in

All merchants have to be compliant with the customer rights.

If he doesn't follow it, the customer has the rights to go to the consumer court.

I went to Subhiksha Show room in chennai, kodambakkam branch to by a nokia mobile for my brother. We selected a model no.5700 xpress music, after verifying all the specifications, finally we decided to choose Red panel model. After one hour later they told only on the box it was put RED model, but we dont have stock ,like they convinced us to get BLACK panel itself which they had. We tried through other branches also got the same reply that the RED color not available. Finally we came out from the shop. And we called to MMDA branch, subhiksha centre, they told they have RED model and the next day only we can pruchase. The next day morning we went sharply by 9.30 am as requested by the sales man in that same centre. Shocked that the shop was closed. "WASTE OF OUR VALUABLE TIME". After that they opened by 10.20 am and we purchased the same mobile. Atlast while swiping the Credit card ,that last minute only they informed us "1.5 SERVICE TAX". Oh what a mad business. We are using credit card for billing, Even that they are putting lot of taxes. Which is the original tax we have to pay. ALL IS OUR HARD EARN MONEY GOING USELESS. WORST CUSTOMER CARE IN SUBHIKSHA SHOWROOM. Dear all, please plan and enter into a good shop.

I am a FICCI employee and I and my friends fron CII have been cheated by Obeettee carpets. Please stay away from these people.

I fully sympathy for the customer as her hard earned money has gone into drain but i feel that she should have tried contacting the seniors a little more and more over i dont think that seniors wont pick the call after repeated trying.
