The mental health staff at St E. is completely incompetant. If you need mental health services I would avoid St Elizabeth, Edgewood completely, and seek help elsewhere, such as University Hospital, Cincinnati. If you only need a doctor, then St Elizabeth may be a good choice. For outpatient counseling and group therapy you can expect multiple and often changing diagnoses, conflicting information regarding treatment, and severe lack of communication among staff and patient. They run a complete mess of a program.

St.Elizabeth advertises how important it is to them to have their staff and Doctors well educated to treat those who have mental health needs. To practice awareness, be observant and compassionate, not to judge, label, and treat them hostile. Raising their voices, commanding them to calm down, in their personal space, instead of stepping back, lowering their hands, and suggesting they breathe. In a treatment facility, they inform patient their meds will be obtainable, upon arriving a nurse states they have no way of linking onto your medical records like most hospitals do, her suggestion if you want your necessary meds, you most go to all past doctors and retain copies of meds and test results. Even with this information, they might not honor the decisions of the doctor before. Not a place I would recommend, a place I would recommend for review by the medical board, some of the staff or questionable, and that is being nice
