Same as all other complaints on your site about Spruce Power of Texas, I took over the lease when i bought the property in March 2021. After more than a year, finally sent a technician to check the system, missing parts and meter is not working properly and need to be connected to internet. All while i am being charges outragious monthly fees and get threats few times every week for collections. System was completly disconnected for few months but yet i continued to get invoices and now evey payment i make goes towards disputed amounts when system was disconnected so i am always behind - that is despite many explicite instructions not to apply my payments towards disputed amounts per CFPB, but no one listens. I went as far as filling complaints few months ago with both CA Attorney General (wher property is located) and with TX Attorney Gneral where the company HQ is located. ALL these attempts produced no results, which makes me think that this company is above the law and no one can regulate them. Both attorney generals jsut sent me a letter acknowledging receipt of the complaints but nothing else.
Any one knows what to do?
Anyone know who is supposed to be regulating thoe companies?
Desired outcome: 1- Credit for disputed amounts for few months when system was completly offline2- Fix meter as it is not fixed still3- Stop all harrassement and threats of collections4- History of billing and payments that were not applied
I transfered my solar contract with Spruce to my son Nolan in July. Since then Spruce continues to steal money from my checking account every month. I've called repeatedly only to deal with lying [censored]tards from Spruce.
