About 3 years ago I had an engine go in my 2011 Ford F-150 so I took it back to the dealership and they replace the engine with a Spartan engine, I have had that motor for 3 years now and 3 months and the expiration on the warranty is 3 hours with unlimited mileage I have 70,000 miles on this engine and the timing chains have gone so I'm looking at $3,000 in repairs before that I have gone through four different turbos along with other repairs to this engine, I contacted Spartan engines which sells the engine through advance Auto parts and buy both these companies I was told were sorry about your luck first of all they started the warranty when the engine was sold not when it arrived not when it was put in when it was sold so I have had nothing but problems with this engine and now I have a $3,000 bill to get the timing chains replaced along with a cam and a lot of other parts I reached out to see if Spartan or advance Auto would help with the cost of repairing this engine and it's like running into a brick wall they don't want to hear nothing from me, first of all when you spend almost $7,000 to replace your engine you would think this engine would last more than 3 years and more than 70,000 miles this company they're glad to get your money, but when it comes to standing by their product that's a whole nother story, apparently they don't care who they're cheating whether it be senior citizens on disability veterans or anybody they just don't care...

Claimed loss: $4,000

Desired outcome: I would like to see them pay for the repairs or at least some of them and to stand by their engines and products.
