southhall Travel review: Wrong booking and worst costumer service 1

Hi,

I was looking for tickets to travel to India, As my mother in law was getting operated for Brain tumor.Then I came across the website of cheap Tickets/southall Travels, but as the deal was available on phone only called them. I was put to an agent and he said he has one good deal for me if I am bit flexible. I was very happy to hear that and he said he will book me for that flight if I quickly respond to his email saying I am happy with Itinerary. I trusted him and didn't even bother to open the Pdf file and send him confirmation as said by him.
Then after 2 days I got my invoice in post and I was shocked to see that he has booked the tickets for wrong date. So I picked up the phone and called him but he was not there. Then I spoke to other agents and manager everyone but they said they cant do anything for me.
So I called Jet Airways directly but they denied to help me saying you have bought tickets through agent so we cant help. I tried and tried and eventually gave up because no one was ready to help even after I was ready to pay the difference in the fine. Instead they wanted me to pay 250 pounds per Ticket.
The story doesn't ends there. Then I write email to agent to make rest of the payment not wanting to be in other mess and giving them opportunity to say that you didn't make full payment etc etc. But he doesn't bother's to respond. Ultimately I had to call them trace someone down to sort my payment.
This is most lousy service and response from both airlines and travel agent. Instead of helping costumer and trying to make there life easy they mess it up.
I can prove that when I shared my experience with my friends I was quite surprise to know that there were many more people who had been in some or other mess because of same travel agent and there response was pathetic.

A BUNCH OF JOKERS BACK IN THE CALL CENTRE DELHI, PLEASE TEACH THEM HOW TO HANDLE INTERNATIONAL PASSENGERS, WE BUY FLIGHT TICKETS NOT TRAIN TICKETS CUSTOMER FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS FREQUENT TRAVELLER ALMOST ONCE IN 2 MONTHS, BIRMINGHAM - CHENNAI IN EMIRATES, RUDE ANSWERS BY THE CALL CENTRE STAFF ATTITUDE HORRIBLE, THE CALL CENTRE STAFF MR.TAYLOR HAS TO LEARN HOW TO TALK.
