William Hayes, a pastor for the above mentioned ministry took over what was a public pot luck dinner from another pastor. Since doing this William has suddenly become wealthy, taking trips and buying cars with his friends and confidants, Roberta Reagan and Scott Spalding. Are they stealing donations? Probably. This posting is not about that. One Sunday in early April 2010 I was standing in line for food when William Hayes grabbed my ###. He wanted to be my boyfriend. I am male and heterosexual. I don't deserve what he did. That was sexual harassment pure and simple. In addition to being a thief, William is a predator and belongs in jail. I no longer attend the meal. The thought of it makes me sick.

Having known William Hayes for a number of years I can say that without a doubt this complaint is untrue and malicious. While I do not always agree with him I know that he has a true calling and uses more than he can afford to of his personal income for his ministry.

This is the most outrageous and grievous accusation against a dear man of God. This is a personal attack on one who no doubt was doing what he is always found doing "going about the Father's business" ... I trust William Hayes implicitly and actually 'know the man'. He never fails to be there for the poor, homeless and lost. For those of us who are of the same fold, we know what it's like to have our message rejected and we are accustomed to attack. I pray this person realizes that 'false witness' is an affront to the One who sees and knows all. William lives in His presence and his life is an open book some of us read daily.
william is a strong, dedicated man of faith, who's zeal for Truth and helping others no doubt stirs up the same kind of hate generated toward his Master. the original complaint here is so fraudulent and sinister in nature that it brings shame on the site hosting it, unfortunately for them; as they were attempting to provide a real service.

The truth about my life during these accusations is this: I haven’t owned a car in six years, mostly because I haven’t had the money. I have been unemployed for about 5 years and homeless for about 5 years. God called me to live that life for awhile in order to focus on His work with the poor. I lived in the basement of a church off and on for about 2 years. I then stayed wherever the Lord sent me. I had unemployment benefits for about 2 years. Any trips I took to the coast and such were due to the Lord’s work and I used my own money – these trips were for a time of break from the work in the streets of Ashland. During those times we went camping in a tent because that was what we wanted to do and it is cheap.
All the funds that were spent, came from and through the First Baptist Church. They can vouch for every dollar spent; we were made accountable to them. They will verify that for us, [protected]). I have never assaulted anyone in my life, in any form. I am a married man with 4 children and am heterosexual . I will say nothing about this man who posted this, except he should at least use his real name. I do know him, and so does Jesus. We both love him very much. I hope he will come to know God’s love for him. He is always welcome to the feed in Lithia Park. It is now known as (A CHURCH WITHOUT WALLS/A SORJORNEIR’S FELLOWSHIP). Be blessed always.
