I have been working at energizer for 3 years through smx and I have done everything that was asked of me. I came in on my days off, and I worked lines I wasn't comfortable working. I am writing this in hopes that there is some changes in the future in the way Supervisors treat their employees. There are several issues I would like to discuss. First is requesting time off. There were several times I would put in a time off request 3 weeks to a month ahead of time and not once did my supervisor inform me whether or not my request was approved when I asked. This made it difficult to spend time with my family; I was afraid I would get pointed if I missed work. So I would attend work instead of seeing my family. Also, on the rare occasion that I was informed that my time off request was approved, I would be told the next day after being approved or a the day before my time off, that I was not approved. I do not understand how I was approved then all of a sudden I was not. Another issue is leads walking around asking if employees are working the holiday; making it seem like we had an option whether or not to work. Only soon after within the next few hours, did the leads come back around telling us we would be pointed if we did not show up to work for said holiday. There is this guy who has been bullying and harassing me but Sonya Bryant, my lead, seemed to often make us work on the same line. This made me nervous and sick to my stomach. I did not perform my job well on those occasions. Every time I would Bring this up to Sonya, she would make fun of me and belittle any concerns I had. I have also personally heard her throw confidential information out in the workplace. There are rumors and evidence of her deleting and adding points to associates. Today I came to Sonya because I didn't know how to do my job as it was my first time the basement. So I asked to be moved or if I could go home, because I wasn't told what was expected of me in this position. As soon as I mentioned going home, she got an attitude and told me to go back to the line. As I headed back to the line she followed me and was saying hurtful comments; she called me a child and snatched my badge from me before I successfully reach the line. As I was leaving, Sonya escorted me out. I called my ride who also works there to let them know I was leaving. Sonya announced over the radio that if my ride left, even though she had enough points to leave that she was going to be fired. My ride soon after called me saying Sonya went up and harassed her to leave, adding a point to her so if she were to leave, she would automatically be fired. I was constantly feeling like I wasn't being heard, instead I was always uncomfortable at work feeling as though any of my concerns didn't matter and the actions taken only made work almost unbearable to me. I requested several times in the past to switch shifts but I felt ignored or was always given the excuse that no one else on my shift could be trained for my position. Yet, a few of my friends were allowed to switch shifts almost immediately after their initial requests. I have noticed over the past three months, SmX has lost great employees due to the way they were treated by Sonya. I know I am not the only person who feels they've been used like a pawn in the workplace and felt helpless at the same time.

Desired outcome: Job back on preferred shift
