I use a cpap headgear sleep mask. I received a letter from Sleep Remedies stating that the mask and headgear I was using was being recalled due to magnets in the headgear connection. I made an appointment with sleep remedies to be fitted for a new headgear and mask. Now I've received a bill for $19.84 and they billed my insurance for over $100.00. This was a RECALL. I called sleep remedies and was told that Respironics who make the mask would have to refund my money. This is not right. Sleep remedies is still getting their money. To me this is bait and switch.
Desired outcome: as this was a recalled item that I should not be responsible for and a formal apology from sleep remedies for trying to rip off me and the insurance company.
Sleep remedies is not an honest business.
