T.M.F. promised me the pick of her future litter. She never even brought up her "rule" for co-ownership until 4 months later, when pups were born. Her contract was extremely strict and had no guarantees for the buyer. I tried to negotiate it, very politely and failed. She told me she won't sell me a puppy at all, without stating any reason whatsoever, she just did not "feel good about it" anymore. She has no class and I suspect she enjoys letting people down in a surprising and abrupt fashion (it makes her feel powerful). I wasted many months building a good relationship with her, thinking I was getting her best puppy ... only be totally rejected on a whim. I feel deceived. And I am sure I am not the only one. I met other people who own her dogs and they all walk on egg shells around her. They told me that she turns her back on old friends just like she does to great buyers and her entourage reflected that fear and uncertainty. A think she is a very sad, small-minded and uneducated woman who in overcompensating has become sadistic.
Toxic. Some of her puppies are very beautiful But you should know she never sells any of them, she only shares ownership and you can be sure her contract is looking out for her best interests alone. For $3500 a pup (pet or show is the same price at Skyline) are you SURE you can't find a breeder with a more integrity? Or one that appreciates great owners and is not bipolar?
Tonilyn of Skyline Giant Schnauzers is a very knowledgeable and experienced breeder.
Any reputable breeder is going to keep their names on pups they sell. The better breeders have extensive contracts. And the best ones will pick puppies to fit the future owners. If you were knowledgeable of the breed you would understand the reasoning behind this. Tonilyn is impeccable in her breeding program, and her care of her dogs.

Tonilyn is one of very few breeders who actually is preserving what the giant schnauzer is and should be. Kudos to tonilyn and skyline giants!
100% agree with this comment. We were first time buyers from her (having grown up with Giant Schnauzers). She would not let us chose the dog, as she claimed she matched the puppies to the owners based on temperament. Seemed odd, but fair.
I’m sorry, but who are you? First of all I have never had a runt in my litters. Secondly, if you were so unhappy why haven’t you contacted me about this? I will gladly take my puppy back if you are so unhappy with him/her. I have no idea who is writing this or if you are a real person. Unfortunately anyone can post untrue statements on the internet these days. Including the slanderous review that you replied to.
