We are a group of medical providers that was solicited by this company. They have made numerous promises that was not met, they have been misleading our offices and other colleagues that their product was the answer to our EMR needs. We as a group have found out that all of this is untrue and we have been given the run around and has been threatening us to pay the penalty of 10k if we don't stay with them.
After speaking to our legal adviser and reading their contract they are pretty much a company that would try too extort money from you until they can. They are a unfinished product and it's not a end to end solution for a medical practice. If you have been a victim of this company please see your legal council to seek advice.
This company was stating that they are part of a multi- billion company SK Holdings / UB care which is base in Korea. The reason why I added this phrase is if they are part of a big investment firm why are their products not able too meet our needs for EMR

Electric shavers are good to use compared to the old straight razors that our fathers and grandfathers were using. Users of the best electric shavers claim that there just doesn’t exist any shaving burn with an electric razor

I just received a letter from Clark Hill telling me that SkycareEHR shut down the shop but I am still obligated to pay Americorp Financial LLC for the goods and services I purchased and financed thru Americorp. SkycareEHR arranged the finance for me. Can anyone give me some advice for how to handle this problem? One stressed office manager

This is a terrible company .
My physician bought their EMR last year. We were promised training, help, government incentive money. We received nothing. We call now and nobody answers or calls us back. By state law, we have to write our prescriptions electronically by April 1. We now cannot do that without getting a new EMR and this company continues to draft our practice account. My physician will file suit.

Skycare represents themselves as a complete EHR solution that is fully customizable, which they are NOT. Their product does not having a billing solution, at least by the industry standard. They roll up to a superbill then you have to use another billing service to re-enter the data into that system, which is double the work. In a complete solution the work flows seamless from patient visit to billing the insurance companies including the reporting of the Accounts Receivables.

Also the functionality in there program does not work. They claim you can e-RX which you cannot do because that program is not currently functional, yet it was sold that you can do this. In addition they are not certified to allow you to prescribe any narcotic type drugs, which entails almost all persecriptions that are not over the counter. No e-Labs either because that functionality either. They are claiming that they will have a complete billing solution, which they promised to me 2 years ago, which they do not have.

We have started a class action lawsuit against these guys because not only have they taken our money each month wihtout doing anything, when I changed my banking information they treatened to sue me. They were the ones who misrepresented their product yet are trying to sue me.

I did start using this product and the flow through they say is customizable it is still a terrible solution. It took them 6 months to create my custom templates. Yet they charged me and charged my account again. They also told me I would get my stimulus incentive money for $21, 250 for my first year, and more money each year after that. They said this would take them about 6 weeks total, which this never happened. I was with them for 6 months and canceled my service and they told me I was stuck in a 60 MONTH CONTRACT and i needed to pay them a $10, 000 cancellation fee.

My Attorney is currently working on suing them, and we have found that we have a lot of comapny. So far we have found 80 other Doctors that are not happy with this comapny and trying to get out of their contract or taking legal action agains them.

I am currently very happy using my FREE PRACTICE FUSION system that is a much better solution in working functionallity, billing, and its FREE.

Buyer beware this company has a history of screwing people over and trying to sue them to hold them to contract which they misrepresented and continue to represent on their website of being a complete EHR solution, which they clearly are not.

DO NOT sign a 60 month contract with them.

To those who are concerned about the contract.
CANCEL YOUR CONTRACT. 10K penalty? It will not hold up. There are 4 mistakes within the contract that will allow you to remove this liability. You have the right to cancel due to overpromising. If you cannot utilize the product because of lack of support, training, doesn't work as similar products, no one will award the penalty. Also if you have been debited and the product/service was not delivered - a password in NO WAY implies it was delivered - you have the right to claim your debit and have your funds returned.

We have signed up for a 30 DAY trail with this company and they told us that they are the best on what they do. They are so good at giving you promises that they can not keep. we where referred by another provider that was using their product. So me and my wife went with the trial and then this sales man name DAVE CARTER had called us constantly to move forward with them and they will only charge us 99 dollars for the next 3 month with the promise that we will be getting are incentive with that time frame. Three months had past and still no stimulus and they charge my account for 499.00. I called their company the next day and they told me that they will try to work with office and offer us to go another 3 months so that we can get the stimulus.

I also would like to note that during the first 3 months that we where with them i can only count how many times they trained our staff and it was a mess my staff states that they are not professional and is rude on the phone. They had my office manager talked to different people but all they do is BUY TIME ! So i tried to call Mr. Carter but he never returns my call and they transferred my call too some person name Gary who threaten me that if i cancel i they would charge me a penalty of 10K i was furious to hear his statement and asked to speak the the president and he would not provide me his name. I don't know why they are protecting him and when is leave a message to him he does not call back nor reply to my messages.

Buyer be ware! we are just a small practice that was trying to comply with the guidelines that was mandated by the government to switch from paper to electronic records. What we did not know was it will be such a headache and stressful to deal with the harassing phone calls and specially dealing with my bank. If there is someone that can help me get out of this contract please contact my office.

Listen- it is really simple for a company to be certified at the initial stage of this game.
Going forward you will NOT be able to fool anyone, especially the certifying boards.
DO NOT get fooled to sign a contract that "appears" to be a month to month contract, when in fact they will try to charge you a cancellation fee for 10K- Its in their contract, so you can't say they are being deceptive!
Unless you are BIG practice, the smaller and even free EMR's are going to be just fine. If you TRULY need a customized EMR- First THIS COMPANY IS NOT THE ONE TO RETAIN.
IF you have a problem with this company or ANY EMR, respond to this message and We will help you get out of any contract, as well as give you some suggestions, based on your Genre of Medicine on who is the best fit- We will probably be able to find you a FREE EMR that makes sense. In regards to Stimulus- It DOES take a dedicated person to stay on top of it, but CMS is not that difficult to work with- SO DONT GET PULLED INTO A CONTRACT JUST TO GET YOUR REIMBURSEMENT

About this 30 day trial :

This is a gimmick to get you signed up with your EHR. You will have all your reps contact us and promise us in house training unlimited support and 24-7 customer service. I had my biller signed my office with your EHR until now she still has no idea how your system works. I has asked our templates to be customized as promised but your staff advised me to search it myself so why should I pay you guys.

I was told too speak to someone but it seems no one is competent to answer my questions nor deal with my concerns. Now my question is to this company is why should I pick your software compare to the free once out there who does not have a contract and it's user friendly and has all the support they can get. If you promote service I must say I was not aware of any service that was provided to us.

So buyer beware make sure you look at the fine print . Do not give them your accounting information until your sure you like their software. Make sure you review your contracts and obtain a copy for your records. Also in this market no EMR company has any contracts for 60 months that they will hold you for. The market has been saturated with good EMR's and it's also free. I'm writing this comment to share my experience with my fellow providers. I just want the to have a choice!

This is coming from a person who was threatening to sue my office if we did not follow their contract. You office had made several promises that you will train my staff and myself but yet I don't see any changes. The only thing I saw was money was being drawn off my account which you guys are good at . I have spoke to other providers in LA county and I was made aware that you would sign a contract in behalf of the doctors which I believe you guys where sued for.

You say that you are a complete solution to ehr needs for the doctor and it's a complete system. So let me ask you this why are providers leaving you guys and you where ask several times if you have a billing system but yet could not provide. You are misleading not only us but everyone else. Also I was advised that I was going too get my stimulus which yet I need too see but I will never count on that anymore.

I have done my research and I know that your software is not what it's labeled too be a complete system we have spoken too your ex programmers who currently is working with out office and told me all that we need too know. Yes I may agree with you that you are MU certified for this year but I know you bearly made the requirement. Also we have heard that your office claim your part of CMS which is not true they have not heard of you nor accredited by them. I believe this is a sales tool too get them in your products.

So I wish you good luck.

SkyCare is very proud of the fact that we are indeed a complete EHR solution. We are recognized by The Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) as a Complete Ambulatory EHR, with a CHPL Product Number IG-[protected]. The official public notification can be found at the government website here: http://tinyurl.com/ov9rwt2 . This government certification allows for each of our providers to attest with The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to remain in compliance with their Stage 2 Meaningful Use program. The details of which can be found here. www.cms.org.
During the business and discovery process of our services, SkyCare offers a 30 day trial period where the eligible professional is taken through a complete guided tour of our system over several encounters in the course of their 30 day trial. During this time, each doctor is free to log in, use the system, make changes, and explore any aspect of the system he or she is considering to purchase. There is no financial commitment on the client’s part, and at the end of this no-cost trial period, the doctor can chose to terminate this trial. In essence, the doctor is allowed to use the system to the point where he or she is comfortable enough to make a decision to either purchase a license, or discontinue service with no charge. Each doctor has this option available. This option is prominently featured at our website, www.skycareehr.com .
We are completely unaware of any Dr. Lee that is part of a group of doctors, or any doctor in general, that is part of a medical group with the issues described above.
My name is Gary, and I am the Marketing Manager for SkyCare. Our offices are located in Southern California and I can be reached during business hours at [protected], ext. 201. I welcome anyone’s call to discuss this issue, or any comment about our product. Feel free to contact us at any time.

We have sued this business for doing fraud into their contracts. I'm surprise that they are still around. The funny part of this is this office tried to use me as reference to get into another provider that I know . They must be joking right !
