Dear complaints board. l hope this finds you well. l have a complaint about an online training group called Simplilearn Americas Inc.
I subscribed for the Post Graduate program in Cybersecurity in December 2022 which was scheduled to commence on December 19th,2022. However, after a reassessment of myself, l realized l was not stable mentally hence l notified Simplilearn about my intention to withdraw and l immediately sought a refund and all these were before the program commenced on December 19th. I got a response and asked to wait for at least 72 hours, the time passed and l sent several reminders before l got the shock of my life that l had to withdraw 7 days after registration so, therefore, l am not eligible for any refund. They continue to deduct the installments from my card, then changed the card with the idea it would help from further debiting of my card. This was not helpful either. After this time they stopped responding to my message, until one day when l came up with an idea to start again in near future perhaps l would be stable in mind to study and learn. The same result occurred, l could not join on the March 11th rescheduled date. Sir/Ma, l am an average individual who is struggling for a better life the $2100 deducted through "SplitIt installment Services" from my card has had a serious impact on my little finances, and till now l am struggling. Please note, l have never downloaded any of their programs or submitted any assessment. Of course, l only logged in to the portal created for me to study and submit assessments. I was not duly informed to withdraw 7 days after the application before a refund could be processed. Please help me with my full refund as the 7 days' notice after the application seems like a trap. I am initiating legal action against Simplilearn for discontinuing live classes and failing to deliver the promised services. Despite my repeated requests over the past 20 days, their lack of response is unacceptable. I will hold them accountable for mental harassment and fraudulent practices. Simplilearn has taken advance payment for the entire course but has discontinued live classes at their convenience. This is extremely disappointing. Social media is replete with similar complaints against Simplilearn, indicating a pattern of scamming.

Hi NTH20

It's interesting that after 2 years someone like you who is also bold enough could come out to complain once more about Simplilearn. They seems like group of scammers trying to operate legally.

Complaints board does not help my matter either, as for almost 2 years nothing is heard. No update or effort made to help;at least no proof that they're engaging them for possible recovery of my $2100. So sad.

Unfortunately, l don't have money to press charges.
