This ad infuriated me this morning. Apparently, Taylor Swift adopted a ragdoll and this bish is trying to sell her cats based on this! She is clearly not in it for the betterment of the breed. Pisses me off.. remember when the Taco Bell chihuahuas were popular? How many were abandoned after the trend? Or Dalmatians? This is a perfect example of someone not to adopt from. If the breeder doesn't ask for references, specifically your vet's name and number, I wouldn't trust them. Please save yourself the heartache I went through and the thousands, I mean thousands of dollars I went through to save my little baby. I'm not rich, by any means, and two years later still struggling with the loss, financially and emotionally. These breeders should be out of business. Rip my baby Zakk.

we got a kitten from doris last year now back in april. our baby isnt even a year old & a week ago i took him to the vet because i noticed he was acting different, turns out he has wet FIP. the vet mentioned i couldnt have prevented it & that it is something he was probably born with & his genes just so happened to mutate causing this & making him sick - luckily i can support financially for the medication he needs & because i can not imagine my life with out him. this is my child we are talking about - so by all means i am assuming the mother of my kitty is SICK. doris its time to stop breeding. you have been doing this for too long & now you are just producing sick kitties causing so much pain & heart break in families. i know my kitty is not the one either.

I have purchased 4 Ragdoll cats from the Simonsezz cattery. While all the kittens are vetted, some things can "slip past". My Ragdolls have lived as long as 18 years and each time I loose one, I replace with another. These cats all have had their own personalities, but the fact remains that they have been gentle, sweet, loving pets that have enriched my life beyond words. Owning any pet is a responsibility that happens automatically when you make the decision to bring them home. This breeder is best in class, has improved the breed through constant handling, love and attention. Kittens get their trust of humans from their mother. With each generation of cats, the trust is deeper and your bond with the animal stronger. Cats are not domestic and Simonsezz kittens are as close as you can get. My biggest fear is that the next time I need another kitten, I would have to my trust in another breeder.

My girlfriend and I had purchased a kitten from Simonsezz cattery in November of 2019. The kitten is beautiful and appeared to be healthy. Unfortunately circumstances arose in the form of a polyp that had been growing in her inner ear that has caused her to be unbalanced and have trouble breathing. Fast forward a few months and thousands of dollars later we had the polyp removed and she is happy once again. We had reached out to the breeder to inform her of our situation and kindly asked to receive a refund for the price of the kitten. She complained about how we hadn't returned her to her sooner so she could be euthanized and we would have received a new kitten as a replacement. Appalled by this response we again stated we want a refund for the price we had paid for her and we would have to just accept the medical bills. She still has refused to give us a refund and will only pay for the kitten to be spayed, which doesn't even compare to the $5, 000 of expenses we have paid over the past few months. I cannot recommend her cuattery simply for this experience and I hope you will go elsewhere when purchasing a kitten.

I would like to revisit the above comment. Frustrated with this situation, I assumed that the kitten would be enthused if returned to the breeder. I now understand that was not her intention & that she cares deeply about her cats. Simonsezz cattery has agreed to give us a monetary refund for the full cost of the kitten to help with the vet bills we have incurred. Mila's polyp did in fact occur and we did have to get the polyp surgically removed, but this was not due to breeder error. We believe that Simonsezz cattery is not at fault, we just had an unfortunate situation. Our first Ragdoll was purchased from Simonsezz in 2017 and is perfectly healthy. Please do not let the above comment stop you from purchasing from Simonsezz. I’ve added a couple of photos of our two Ragdolls below. Thanks!
