It is about Shockwave.com games, first I have used the Contact from the site with no reply's, I did this about three times, because I could not get the game to download. I went to my Account to see the information, I do not remember clicking ( it might have already had the yearly chosen? and since I did not change it, that is what went through, yes my fault then) and I again Contacted them with no reply.
I have tried to find their phone number ( a couple of years ago they had a phone that you could call) this was on the day the yearly membership was taken out. I have emailed them, by using the emails they have sent me and clicking reply, they told me that they do not have my information, and they do not even have my name, but when I looked at the emails I sent them, it has my full name at the top, the email service automatically adds, I have also kept asking for their phone number, but they will not answer me with it. I do in a way find that odd, if they wanted to stop giving their phone from site, then their email should say that instead of ignoring the a valid question.

I've also had a problem with them. I called the number I found online of [protected]...which shows "Instant Flash Technical Support" when you open the link...and asked if this WAS indeed Shockwave help and the tech said yes. I asked if the tech could help me with a game I purchased that wasn't working right. He said "yes" he could. Then he proceeded to have me type in a command so he could take over my computer to see what was the problem. He then began telling me of all the things that showed that were wrong and for over $250 I could have a tech fix the problems. When I said I could not begin to afford that, he had me hold and came up with another option that would "only cost" about $150 I could have someone "take over my computer" as he was doing and fix it.When I told him "nothing personal" but this is just a little game giving me problems and I have absolutely nothing else with any problems on my computer and why would I have to go through all of that. Then when I also said "nothing personal" but I don't know you and don't know if this all is necessary and have no way of knowing if I REALLY needed all of that. Then I also asked him "are you a salesman or a real technician?"...I heard a buzzing sound. HE HUNG UP ON ME!What on earth? Has anyone else had any similar thing happen? I'm just curious and was so put back by this I just had to vent someplace. How RUDE was that?!

Shockwave's attitude toward their customers is terrible. Have been a paid member of Shockwave.com for seven years. Over the past two years service has declined with constant login failures and increasing substandard game offerings. Over the past two months the games have been horrible. Many members are complaining, and complaints are ignored. I submitted my complaints via their "contact" form, and was sent the same form letter repeatedly. When I threatened to file a complaint with the corporate office, they deactivated my account. When I submitted my complaint via the site's "review" process (including the company phone number and a contact name) they deleted my account, without refunding my unused membership. Attempts to contact the company have failed because only a voice mail message is available telling you to submit complaints via their ineffective "contact" form on the shockwave.com webpage.
