Tell you your order will ship in 5 weeks. Call and call no help. 3 months try to cancel order..tried 3 times..2 more weeks pass and they want to deliver..told canceled order...they keep your money saying it was special order...have email..about 5 wk deliver..exact sofa on line...be ware of this company ...cost me $2, 000..

Same things went on with me, waited 10 weeks for my shipment to find out it still wasn't on it's way and cancelled the order only getting 80% store credit. What criminals…….

I strongly urge that no one order any furniture from this company. They are little better than scam artists. I ordered a dining table and 4 chairs as well as a sectional couch in Sept 2012. It's now the end of March 2013 and I'm still waiting for the table and chairs. The couch was delivered in Dec but it was damaged and so returned. Their policy is that they have the right to repair and redeliver damaged items; instead they claimed that someone had taken pictures of the couch and they couldn't see the damage (which the delivery person had pointed out to me). They offered to ship the couch back as is and, after I had accepted delivery, then they would maybe look into repairing it. I declined, but I'm still being charged a "shipping fee".

Concerning the table & chairs, it was explained to me that if I cancel (due to the excessive delay) then they charge me a 20% "restocking fee" as well as delivery charges, which would amount to about half of the total charge, and in addition the refund is only as a STORE CREDIT!

Ordered sectional sofa back in middle of Sept. The order was picked up at the distribution center right before Thanksgiving. I've tracked online for the delivery process, and guess what, two weeks after the ordered was picked up and calling whole time, they told me that the two of 4 order pieces were missing. Then I was calling almost everyday to find out what happened to missing pieces, and I told them if they don't find it by end of the third week, I will cancelled the order. They were still talking about 20% of restocking fee. Then got a call from the distributor for delivery schedule. I asked if they found the pieces and they said yes. however they ended up delivering only one single part of whole entire sectional sofa! I called shiparoom and their their two distributors to keep on track with solution and finally they considered the rest of two main pieces go lost. Those missing pieces were pretty much entire sectionals sofa. It is so dumb and took almost month to figure it out. i was so angry. How can you lose merchandise? So Shiparoom finally agreed to give me full refund after they tried to still sell out the same piece by reordering. But I rejected and ask for fast refund because the girl on call center was telling me that it usually take 6 weeks to get the refund back! That's ridiculous. Even after I rejected the reorder offer and asked for refund within a week, it still wasn't reported to their corporate, and I have to keep calling them to find out. I am still waiting on their response about my refund after they were reluctant about my request. Some represents were nice and some weren't on call center. Also their communication system is only by email even when customer wants to talk to high management, all you can do is just write an email and wait. I almost want to join the previous reviewer if my case is not settledby filing a lawsuit. Good luck and all the best to you, Hermanck.

I am hiring an attorney to file a class action lawsuit against Shiparoom.com. Their restocking fees and "store credit only" policy for something that never left their possession is unlawful. I've reported them to FTC Minnesota and California Better Business Bureau, and Consumer protection Agency. They don't act unless all of us stand up for our consumer rights!

status of my order. I ordered patio chairs on 8/24/2012 and they charged my account for $622 I contacted them the next day and asked to cancel the order. They cancelled my order, but told me there is a 20% restocking fee and they only offered a "store credit" for $482. After disputing this for several days unsuccessfully, and not wanting to lose any more of my money, I decided to order 4 lounge chairs for an additional $1, 381 on 8/31/2012. Their website said it would ship within 5 to 6 weeks. It has been 9 weeks, and I have inquired at least 8 times either via the phone, via email, and on their live chat without receiving any information. The live person I spoke to was rude and told be he had no visibility of the status of my order and I would have to wait until 5-6 weeks. Their 24-hr live phone and chat advertised on their website is very rarely "manned". Therefore I left multiple messages with no response. I wrote to their email address several times with no response. After leaving a very terse message, they responded and said they would have to check with the manufacturer on status (after 8 weeks). I've never received a response. I finally got a live chat rep tonight who said there was no record of me ever inquiring about my order and she would have to report it to her manager. When I tried to chat my response back, they turned off their 24 hr. chat service."

It takes forever to get your purchase and the items are not as pictured at all. The material looks cheap and the chairs and dinette table appear normal on the Internet, but are like children, s seating in actuality . I wish that I had seen these reviews before I placed my order.
