Wow, I feel so bad for all the women who had bad results from Dr Velasco and his joke of a coordinator, Sheri Burke. I think they shut her down for good.

What a mess, the medical coordinator writes all the positive reviews. I am glad to not be involved.

fully agree Staci. She knows nothing about medical issues. All she wants is to take your MONEY! like you say, karma will bite her in the ###! not soon enough I must say.

She is uneducated I remember waiting for surgery and she said she was stressed about trying to figure IVF stuff out she had no idea what she was doing ... CANCUN MEXICO -- Hi I don't really know where to start here so much info... I found out on Thursday I had five bacteria's in abdomen had to have emergency surgery. This infection was the worst infection my dr. here has ever seen. I finally got to go home on Monday. I lost a lot of blood and can't drive or work right now my incision is wide open we have a wound vac hooked to me that I have to carry around all day until they feel my blood is built up enough for surgery/closing my insincion up we are trying to avoid a transfusion. I see a nurse three times a week and see my plastic surgeon Monday to see what our next step is..

Aftercare I think is what I think did me in... but I'm not pointing finger's at anyone.. I developed a sore on the bottom of my incision that would not heal I asked sheri about it I was worried she told me to put honey on it and keep it covered it looked really good ... this all started at three weeks post op I had my surgery on 3/21/2012.. I had asked sheri many times after sending pics if I should go see my regular dr. she said no your body just needs some more time. I asked her again about it week or so later sent in my pic she sent to dr. V to get his advice he said I was having minor complication and my body was reacting to inside sutures and needed antibiotics. I went to see my dr. she gave me antibiotics and took a culture this was Friday before my surgery on Monday I had another appt.. still wasn't getting better she put me on two antibiotics the culture came back with five bacteria's. she refferred me to a surgeon we thought maybe I needed to be drained again for Dr. V left our drains in for only 8 days. the Surgeion couldn't get me in so she wanted me to be seen sooner suggested I go to ER. My husband was out of town til wed. so I went in on Thursday and had Emergency surgery now I'm left open. Before I went to ER though I had emailed sheri to get DR. V advice she said she was meeting with him in a bit and would get back to me... never heard from her all day.. I emailed her Thursday AM the day that I was going in and asked if she had heard from him for I was going into the ER and wanted his opinion she didn't get back to me claiming she was in meeting's all day till around 5:00 PM still no answer about talking to the DR...

While we were their:
The condo was Ok... I've stayed in better places but it was fine... no microwave... we had to climb three flights of stairs right after surgery which was the most painful thing you could do... Erick her husband was the one who usually took us to the appointments we didn't really see much of sheri. Everytime we called sheri to get us something after surgery she would either forget half of what we asked for or get us something we didn't even ask for. I feel like they should of had a folder that had places you could call to deliver food. Thank goodness for our roomates who went to the store for us.

The Hospital:
I liked the Dr. he was quiet but nice and spoke English. The hospital was ok it wasn't clean like we see here.. but they were adding on which I thought was a good sign. but the two days we were their they pounded and pounded above our heads I was going crazy I finally called Erik to tell him we needed out of their because I was going Crazy. Most of the nurses spoke Spanish but we had a few cards we could use.. One nurse who was pregnant was very rude slammind doors and such. I think if they were doing construction we should of been told about it. We didn't sign any paperwork. The beds were very uncomfortable. Not that we had appetites anyway but they never offered us any food. and the pain med's are much better in the U.S. I'm not sure what they even used but they would only give them to us every six hours. which we were in excrusiating pain. I know the surgery I just had here I was given morphin every hour and and norco.

Even on last day we didn't see sheri she didn't come out to say by or anything. I had asked sheri many times about going to my regular doctor and she said I didn't need too... I think sheri needs to be better educated on the aftercare and non of this would have happened to me.

As of now I will never go back to Mexico not even for Vacation...I'm going to end up paying another 10, 000 to repair this that is not the 7900. for the package I paid for in Mexico excluding my airfare and food.

Dr. Velasco did my surgery e coli is prominent in Mexico...my abdomen wall was contaminated with e coli so much more of my stomach was cut out...e coli is spread through stool or feces through humans or animals someone didnt wash their hands before my surgery did my surgery (they were the only ones in my abdomen wall) this is why nine weeks post opt I had a spot on my incision from taking tape off that would not heal the infection had contaminated my abdomen wall...I was in severe pain in hospital during recovery and while home and I have a high tolerance for pain I'm sure others have had good experiences but this does happen never in a million years did I think I would go to Cancun and come back with this nasty infection...I had read how others weren't in pain and where back at work... I have a desk job and didn't have the stamina to go back to work...i thought this was all part of recovery maybe it was just taking me longer than others...this could of killed me if not taken care of...I think the sore was a blessing in disguise or else I never would of had it checked out...I go in for my third surgery Tuesday to close me up another 6-8 weeks of recovery and depending if we have enough skin to close me all the way up...I will have another surgery for skin graph...and for the photos on their website Sheri was asked not to post pics and still did...I'm here to let others know this does happen and it's not worth the money to go to other countries for surgery...after my surgery I will be posting photos of everything so don't go to Mexico for surgery!

I AM OK .MY GIRLFRIEND AND I HAD A FULL TUMMY WITH LIPOSUCTION, BUT MY BEST FRIEND WHO WENT WITH ME MARCH 21ST 2012 . ALMOST DIED WITH A FLESH EATING BACTERIA, AFTER OUR SURGERY WE DID NOT SEE SHERRI AGAIN. WE COULDNT GET BASIC NEEDS TAKEN CARE OF. SHE SAYS SHE WILL BE HTERE 4 YOU AND GET WHAT EVER YOU NEED BUT ONCE SHE GETS YOUR MONEY SHE IS DONE WITH YOU.AND HER NICENESS IA ALL A LIE .

Sheri is not professional at all. You're right the only time you see her is when she comes and collects her fees, which are way more than what the doctor gets. Who did your surgery, Dr. Valesco? He did mine, and honestly he didn't go a very good job for someone that was under over 8 hours to do facelift and arm lift. I will certainly never never never go back to Cancun for surgery.

I was also scammed by sheri Burke she booked me a hotel that was 70 a night not 35 as she stated she has no medical background my surgery was 2500 but she took 3500 I only seen her in the morning when she came to collecting pretty sad cause I wish I made a thousand dollars making a phone call / driving someone to a clinic it only got worse from there my doctor was great pastrana he has no idea there charging a extra 1000 each procedure and on too of it the doctor only got 1150 dollars for doing the procedure but did I great job real good genuine man I am going back to see him next month but not threw sheri back to the awful experience with sheri so I had to pay 150 for my garmet she failed to tell me that I'm from Canada my bank card was not working on many ATMs her husband & her are not smart they stressed me out big time were of no help I finally get to the nice hotel I booked myself and basically lay in bed with no assistance or contact from sheri Burke or her skinny gross husband I walked to the clinic myself a few times to get showers / bandage change and food the food she offered to me was pizza and Chinese like are you stupid I just had surgery there was a nice natural cafe that sold fruit veggies sandwiches wraps etc really nice so it's my last day the cab that works with her picks me up tells me sheri says you owe the doctor 2000 pesos funny cause I had just seen the doctor the other night and she wanted me to give it to cab to give to get to give to doctor I said no way if the doctor thinks that then get him to email or call me but I already talked to him and have his number and email don't owe him anything :p then the cab calls her and she says you better give him that money or he's dropping you on the side of the road I said get that doctor to call or email she never did she said your going to rip me off n leave my country no ducking way then I had to inform her she's the scam artist & she's from Canada cancun is not your country she lacks life skills social skills respect empathy sympathy she has never had a surgery done herself nor anytime of medical background if she was in Canada shed work at Tom hortons I ended telling the cab to drop me off back at my hotel missed my flight called different cab caught a later flight and then sheri sent a bunch of rude emails to me I'm only 21 I don't even act that way!

Sheri has had a whole series of men. She was sleeping with the last doctor.Yes she is totally phoney.Trust me she does not give a rip about your results. Once she knows that you are not happy then she is gone like the wind. The can not be sued bc they work in Mexico. That is how her and Dr Velasco gets by with it.

Sheri Burke is a money thieving, fake voice sounding, manipulative blonde [censored]! And I swear if I'm not completely happy with my end result, she better be ready for the mother of all lawsuits. I'm sure Eric is not her husband and she probably lured him into her web like the witch she is. Dr Velasco needs to let go of her QUICKLY!

Hey Fran, Sorry that you along with so many were scammed by this FRAUD operation in Can Cun under the direction of Sheri Burke and her husband Eric along with April Larkin and the so called Dr Velasco. What was your experience? I guess that you know by now that all of them are a fraud and they care nothing about your health. Did you see all of the nightmare cases under this fraud show?

I myself just returned from Cancun and had booked my facelift through SHeri Burke. Let me just say, that the only time I saw Sheri was the morning of the surgery when of course she came to collect the balance owing. After that I was totally on my own. The facelift performed by Dr. Velasco was a disaster. Now I am in the hands of a plastic surgeon here in Canada and will need repair work done on my face which will end up costing me than if I had had my surgery here in Canada. STAY AWAY FROM SHERI BURKES AND A DR SO CALL VELASCO. SCAM SCAM SCAM!

Sheri Burke is covering up the fact that took money for work that she did not do and artificially enhances the business by shilling. The laptop was a piece of junk. Alll belongings were returned to your husband. The maid had put the lap top in a borrowed luggage. Your husband was alllowed to look through the luggage, but he could not find it. No One wanted to miss their flight so the offer was made to pay for the lap top many times over what it was worth. Your husband refused.The offer was made to overnight the lap top . Your husband refused. it was explained to your husband that they maid may have acidently pacekd the lapo top as she saw it being used for two weeks. Still you advised to press charges. The police now know no to believe anything that you say and no one spent the night in jail. You need to learn to get on with your life. She tthreatened in a recorded call to post the patinet's private pictures if they expose the fraud that sheri Burke is commiting. fraud.

Your comments are totally unfounded and could potentially ruin many professionals reputations.
