Manager Tom Flanagan is absolutely a bad administrator. Always giving you the runaround with bonus checks, feedback on company inquiries, PTO requests, etc. This company is always working policies and/or procedures to its advantage. When you work past 5 hours, labor laws of California state that you must be compensated/paid for this and they fix the time clock to NOT reflect such and do NOT pay you for this. ****DON'T APPLY HERE!****** This manager, Tom Flanagan, has been the worst manager I have ever encountered in my career history. So much turnover from disgruntled employees. People leave weeks into coming out of training. RUUN!

This is so funny! Tom Flanagan wasn't that bad, and he's no longer with the company, but watch out for Kimberly, who managed that coup. Obviously, SRP has someone in their "people and culture" department (HR anyplace else, but they're using that term as a dodge for keeping on top of labor laws in Costa Rica, where they can hire people for far less minimum wage than in the US) posting things about the fabulosity of working at SRP. "Land of happy people" on several sites? Somebody's being paid to post that, though likely not much. The company's a train-wreck -- if they lose a contract (two major ones that I know of, and if they hack off OpenTable, things will be grim) they toss off people like ashes from an unwanted cigar. Loyalty and hard work mean nothing. If you don't care about having a paycheck next month, this is the place to be, but be aware that, in spite of the nonsense they spout about loyalty to employees and rewarding initiative, it's all just a load of hooey. It's Kimberly's world, and she could care less about you.

I googled my manager Tom Flanagan because I thought he looked like a certain celebrity and I wanted to show my husband...I happened upon this site and I was SHOCKED to see the comments regarding my manager Tom Flanagan...I started with SRP in 2013, and since then TOM FLANAGAN has bent over backwards to work with me and ANY issue I may have...One of the best experiences with upper management I have ever had...of course ANYBODY who doesnt play by the rules, or value their work ethic can say anything they want...me? I am thrilled to work for tnis company...Kim and Wes are awesome as well...
I don't know where or who you worked for before, but my experience with Tom Flanagan has been totally opposite. I've reached out 3 times to Tom in the two years I've worked here and he's never failed to help me out.
Besides Tom, there is alot of other great things about working here. The upper management, another Tom, Kimberly and Wes. When we had a payroll glitch, the top guy Tom sent us all emails and personally resolved the problem. Whenever you need anything outside the norm, Kimberly is happy to have you speak with her as is Wes. So Tom, while a top manager and awesome is not the whole SRP package by any means.
As far as SRP overall, I feel like I've landed on a Planet of Nice People. No politics, no back stabbing. Everyone works to help each other. We have one of the best Customer Care Departments in the country for a reason.
Tom Flanagan is a tyrant for a manager. This guy is a TOTAL [censored] who treats people as if they are stupid. All these complaints are true...worst manager is true! Worst company ever to work ! Manager never helps the agents, he is always in his phone for personal reasons. Company wants little ROBOTS seating at the chair all the time. To make agents happy they give FREE cheap food. If you want to make your life miserable, be unhappy everyday and have to deal with ignorant staff, go work there ! Your life is going to be miserable...FOREVER ! Jesus, go to work in a Gas Station, but don't work there.
I worked there too!...I can't believe i'm seeing complaints starting up. It's true what the above post says. I left that rat hole!...I would not work there if they paid me more and the manager is a condescending jerk. You could just tell by his look that he just disliked people and had a supervisor that was asian that looked like a tranny. I'm not too sure she was even a woman (questionable for sure). Any who, screw that place! DON'T APPLY THERE!
