On several occasions I have asked Johanna Viac fof Viac Management for my security deposit back for from the renting of 3273 Monterey Detroit MI. WHEN MY LEASE WAS OVER Viac sold the building and I was told that they had another property for me to rent, so I told them to hold security deposit until new place. That was back in August, As of October 4th, I haven't heard anything about moving to the place on October 5th I requested my deposit back and asked several times and called them several times and still no deposit back. (SEE ATTACHMENT AS PROOF) both by emails and text messages as well phone calls have been made to several VIAC representatives

IT IS NOW PAST 30 DAYS OF ME REQUESTING deposit back and now by law they owe me double my deposit. Which I am now requesting by Michigan law a total of $1700 to be sent to my cash app which I have given to Johanna VIAC on previous request.

Since September I was never presented with a lease, update, phone call or email about when I could rent any other properties from VIAC.

MI Comp L § 554.613 (1973)

“…failure of the landlord to comply fully with this section constitutes waiver of all claimed damages and makes him liable to the tenant for double the amount of the security deposit retained…”

Desired outcome: Refund of my $850 security deposit times 2 as provided by Michigan Law totaling $1700
