Saint Matthews is a wonderful church I sent them money several times . You pay your tithes you will receive a financial blessing in ten folds that's in the bible.

If this “church” truly wants to bless people, why don’t THEY pay tithes in OUR names and have that “financial blessing” sent directly to us?
While I cannot prove that they’re running a SCAM, I DO know that I can walk into any local church of my choice and ask the pastor and the congregation to help me pray with me for a blessing of any sort.

And, if they ARE scamming people for their own “financial blessing”, AND they are using our Lord and Savior’s name in order to do so, I’m sure God does NOT approve of that, and those people WILL have to answer to God on Judgement Day. They shall reap what they sow.

AMEN! You ask God for signs..pray and say “Holy Spirit, I pray that you show me signs that this is what I need to do” and trust me..signs are all around..without even looking..they’re there. I received this letter today..addressed to my daughter who is about to graduate and just got accepted to FSU, Flagler, FIT, etc..
We were arguing about what college to attend and other little stupid things. But as she drove away, I found her acceptance letter in the mailbox to North Florida University. As she drove down the street, I found this Saint Matthew letter in my bushes in my front yard.

You see..I’m a single mom with 2 boys with special needs and my daughter who is gifted..and possibly on the spectrum we didn’t see a way..but God always has a way. He has always provided, loves us forgives us etc..

I’m a giver..It gives me joy to help others less fortunate..but literally every time I give..a blessing finds its way back to us..literally miracles. Luke 6:38.” Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” U see..we don’t even have much $ at all..but God always finds a way..Philippians 4:19 “For God shall supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” So to those who think it’s a scam..think again..but better yet..PRAY ABOUT IT! Pray about EVERYTHING! Always! 🙏✝️ N read Gods word! God Bless you all! ❤️ Emily

They sent me a letter yesterday, just telling me that if I had any prayer request to write them down on the paper (that they provided) and send it back to them in an envelop(in which they provided also with a return postage) didn't ask for a dime.

I'm as sick of these mailings as you all! I got 3 letters in mail Saturday. It is like having a stalker, you can't get rid of them.

Sent them 100 dollars because I believed they were a real christian organisation. Soon after they started sending me begging letters. These letters explained I should get my money trippled back to me . Well I stopped believing it and nevr got it back.

Another Update:

It appears that the mailings finally might of ended. I contacted the "Wise Giving Alliance" division of the Better Business Bureau around April, and they forwarded my complaint to the Attorneys for Saint Matthew's, as a result it appears that they might of done the job!

I haven't received any mailings since around April (of course I'm going to wait until around Thanksgiving & Christmas before I pop the Champagne Cork) but so far so good.

Saint Mathews' Churches are horrible they are not of God (so very sad)...
Playing with God or the word! Yes they do ask for $$$$ for donations andthey lie it's horrific. It's frusturating my husband has been dead since March 1st 200.
These people continue to send mailngs with his name on the envelope ! The envelope saying something is going to happen in his life thats never happen before GET READY.

nothing is going to happen in his life he's dead and numerous times I've sent it back saying deceased. It's a waste because they continue to send these nagging letters. There's no one we can contact I've been trying to contact them to tell them that I'm the widower and need this chapter in my life to be closed since 2000.

Well, I've received THREE MORE mailings from these Bible Thumpers by Mail since January ! To make matters worse, the USPS essentially said after I complained a second time last month "Tough, we're required to deliver the mailings regardless of whether you find it offensive." Saint Matthew's won't honor my request to be removed from their Mailing List, so what can I do now?

Update to my previous post: I unsurprisingly did NOT receive a response from my Postmaster, nor a Form 1500 as requested. I just returned it the other day to them with a strongly worded request to remove me from their Mailing List.

I recieved the same letter but they never once asked me to give them any money at all. They just offered to pray for my needs and offered to send me a prayer cross which I accepted.

I received the same exact mailings as you guys. I contacted the USPS yesterday and filed a Complaint alongside requesting a Form 1500 (Prohibitory Order) to be sent my way. While I was given a Case Number and was told that I would be contacted by the Local Postmaster within 2 business days, I noticed Form 1500 has changed the last year or so (older editions said that they could not be refused just because the mailing piece did not appear to be obscene, but the 2/2009 edition online lacks that disclaimer.)

I do find the forced shoving of their particular brand of religion down my throat by way of the USPS as extremely offensive though. I have to deal with Mormons as well as Jehovah's trespassing in my Condo Complex, alongside a EXTREME Bible Thumper Neighbor as is.

I guess if the USPS refuses my 1500 Application, I'll have to get in touch with the local Congress Represenative.

I received a similar letter from them today. Using their pre-paid return envelope, I returned their letter. But, instead of sending $$, I added a post-it note saying:

PLEASE PRAY FOR YOURSELVES, MR. EWING & MR. JOYCE.
I SUGGEST YOU USE THE ENCLOSED PRAYER RUG.
GOOD LUCK!
ASTAROTH

Astaroth is an avatar for the devil, not my real name (of course).
