I recently(today actually)bought a year subscription for $32.00 to watch live rugby matches. After reading the FAQ provided on thier web-site I decided to give it ago.Well, before I could agree to the terms and conditions, it processed my order and charged me $60.00.To add insult to injury, I tried to access the site and I have not been able to do so to date.I have tried to contact their technical department who promised prompt(record time as they say)response to complaints.Well after an hour I got a response saying instructions will be sent to my e-mail as to our to navigate their site.Well, 2 hours later Im still where I am to start off with and now I cant get in touch with nobody.I want a refund as I was overcharged for something that I did not agree to and it does not work!
Hi, I suggest trying www.mediazone.com/rugby USD99/yr. I have had pretty good experience with this service for last year. I have been using it from Germany and now Switzerland.

Oh no, I too subscribed to and paid for rugby-online.tv. $82.00 New Zealand Dollars later I too have nothing to watch. The instant access they promise to live rugby has been nothing but a scam...it was more like an instant disaster the minute they took my money. I have sent an email to their systems support team but I'm not holding my breath. I wish I read this before I did anything. I feel ripped off. Has anyone had a good experience from this service...or any feedback from their support team?

I have a bad feeling that I'm just been scammed into it. I signed up with www.rugby-live-online.com last week and their service is also crap. None of the Super 14 games is being broadcasted live. Rugby-online.tv and www.rugby-live-online.com and tvprocessing.com I think are all one company. After canceling service 40 minutes after 40 minutes of signing up, I realize there's no email (or phone) contact for this website...you submit a ticket to their Tech Support they reply back using the email address noreply@marketbill.com. They told me that they deal with refunds on a case-case basis and that their product is intangible that money cannot be refunded. We'll it clearly says 7 days money back guarantee/no questions asked
If you write to noreply@marketbill.com it bounces back...I hope yous spread the word on this...for me I hope I run into these people in a dark alley
Thanks very much for posting these comments - I was about to pay for a subscription to the www.rugby-live-online.com website but will not do so now because of the comments you have written. It's a shame that people rip other people off in this way, as most of the companies offering services on the web are trustworthy.
I will subscribe to www.mediazone.com/rugby.
Thanks again.
Cheers,
Christian
Thanks guys, you have saved me money also. I will try to spread the word against these ###s.
Paul
www.rugbylivestream.com is a scam a scam a scam.
I have just been ripped off as well but done a search on them and they are a rip off !
All be warned !
How does Google allow them to be top of their search engine ?
Before signing up with rugby-live-online I wanted to find out which games they offered. My interest was specifically in the Springbok/Wallaby/All Blacks Fall tours in Europe--not offered by Rugbyzone. All I got back was a form email from their "Tech Support" telling me how to get online. This was a red flag. I will stick with Rugbyzone even if they don't offer the Fall tours. They are legit and very professional.
Yeah it's a rip off. I work in IT and I wanted to watch a match which is not being screened in the UK (NZ vs France) so I checked this site out. It's quite a sophisticated con if it makes anyone feel any better. I see this sort of crap all the time but I wasn't 100% sure it was a rip off until I did some checking. But what complete ###s the people that run this are.
You can sometimes tell who is running the site by looking at who has the domain registered but these ###s have used a service that hides there details. What I could see is that based on it's IP address it's hosted by a Russian ISP in Moscow http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/whois/?tool_id=66&token=&toolhandler_redirect=0&ip=194.190.200.141. It may be with www.telekom.ru.
I will check with someone I know in Russia and see if we can complain to the ISP that hosts the site. It's a long shot but many ISPs don't like to host rip off merchants so it wont hurt to e-mail them.
As to the persons question above about why they appear high on the Google search results the answer to that is that Google doesn't police sites or change the results. The ranking depends on how the site is built and how many sites link to it.
Thank you all for your comments - you've just saved us from being scammed too. Can't believe how close we were to signing up before doing one last double check.
Cheers guys
I wholeheartedly agree with the above comments. Unlike the others though, I actually managed to get to speak to an alleged 'real' person but still got the same run around when I asked specific questions about what matches where being broadcast and was told. "We are not allowed to give details about specific matches" What the!
My guess is these guys are re-broadcasting pirated content and therefore prefer to remain anonymous and untouchable..."BEWARE ALL YE WHO ENTER HERE"
In the interim there is a smorgasbord list of sports content at: http://www.myp2p.eu - A variety of providers use a variety of software programs. I watched the Ireland-Wales game here last week and the quality was pretty good. Most sports are available there including the Super 14 and the Aussie Rugby League.
Regrettably, consistent, quality streaming is not readily available yet as the 'Media Rights' minefield has to be negotiated to access legititmate content, hence the plethora of questionable quality 'pirate content' . Even 'Rugby Zone' was useless & I twice paid for games I was unable to access. Apparently they don't even read their own weblog with a stream of vitriol from disgruntled Xpats who just want to WATCH THE ******* RUGBY!
Sorry boys...Until someone puts together an umbrella organization that streams legitimate content [Hopefully it's us, as we're working flat out on it as we speak] then we're stuck with 'Shysters to the left & Shysters to the right.
Expressions of interest are invited and you can send questions or suggestions into us here at: sports@onlinepcclinic.com
Cheers Ashley Allan
Thank you also for you comments. My Hubby (NZ boy) can't watch any Rugby on tv so I thought I'd look into finding a site which broadcasts the games live. We don't want Foxtel etc. I would have signed up also. For those people who have and paid by credit card. Go to your credit card provider, put a despute in, and get your money refunded. I have done so previously with other scams. Don't let the B****rs get away with it. Get your money back. It's yours! Alternatively, go to your Umbudsman and make a complaint.
Cheers Guys/ Gals
Tammy (Aussie supporter... We are getting better :)
Guys, i have just gone through the same thing with Rugby-live-online.com and i was given a website with a bunch of links to websites that are already free. There was a number on the charge on my bank account for MBsales who gave me a refund after my polite complaints. the number is [protected].
They take your money and then you cannot download the program to watch the sport on. They are not co-operative when you ask for your money back. Don't evenconsider this one. Its a rip-off!
So which web site would be good to stream rugby?
If you go onto your Google search engine looking for World Cup Rugby 2011 streaming, you will find the top two of your search engine has advertised HD World Cup Rugby 2011. Their website is www.rugbystreamonline.net. The quality and sound was amazing and because it was on the Google Search Engine, I trusted it. I had to pay US$39, which they then sent me a welcome and thank you together with log in page, username and password. They also said in the letter that an email confirmation will be sent to me shortly including my detailed information.
I then started searching the web and found out that so many people have also been caught with this same website. Just yesterday, Friday the 9.9.2011 was caught and what confirmed my suspicions was that she was given the same username and password. Surely, Google being a reputable website should check closely at who advertises on their search engine? I am devastated at how these scammers are getting rich on the public by trusting your search engine.
I have made a post about rugby scams on my blog, it contains images of web ads and websites that you need to look out for. A family member of mine was also tricked into this unfortunately.
Here is a link to my blog post: http://3rdlayer.wordpress.com/2011/09/09/world-rugby-cup-2011/
This infuriates me, luckily the bank got a hold of my family member and shut off their card for them and will be sending them a new one.
You will also find, that the people who are "www.rugbystreamonline.net" have tons of domains on the web, and spam forums and information sources, even make twitter updates and facebook posts and make fake profiles with pictures of people they find on the internet and spam their website on facebook posts.
Yep I agree with all the comments above. I paid $50 for a subscription on http://rugbystreamonline.net/ and they do not have any live rugby world cup streaming! They are scammers! Can we get these websites shut down?
Nicko
I purchased watchliverugby.com for a year from May 2011. All was well until after the world cup in NZ then nothing and remains nothing. Technical department was my only contact and they did nothing!
Fortunately I complained to Paypal who are looking into it and hopefully will give a partial refund.
GO TO wiziwig.tv and follow the links. You will be able to see all these games free of charge without downloading anything on to your computer PS I do not work for or get paid by Wiziwig...
