Roku review: Free channels should not need a pin - a pin is for charging fees

After being erroneously charged for a channel that never stated a fee, nor did it even load I was told by roku to create a pin so this cannot happen in the future.
Now I am unable to add free channels... Each time I try they ask for my pin.
I am setting myself up to being charged again and the fiasco to get the erroneous charges removed is not worth it.
This seems to be a scam to me, roku seems to allow its customers to be scammed by providers.
I want to add youtube free channel and cannot because I will not use my pin for a free channel... It negates the purpose if I get rid of my pin to get the free channel... They could charge me just as before.
This makes no sense.
A free channel should not require a pin which is exclusively for paid channels.
This is opens roku customers up to being scammed.
Poor business roku.
