I am writing to you to offer some feedback in regards to your riverstone tobacco, both my partner and I smoke this tobacco and are very happy with the flavour and price.
I find that in most pouches I am picking out "hard clumps" but thats fine its not too much but the last packet I purchased looks like it was cut with a blunt pair of scissors. Its dry and does not stay alight.
The photo below compares it to an older unopened pouch I had purchased a couple of months earlier as my spare/backup pouch incase we couldnt get riverstone at the shop.
The difference is very noticeable and wondered if you can touch base regrading this please. Batch numbers in picture provided
I have been smoking riverstone for quiet a while now and I absolutely loved 8t so much so that I switched complete from tailormaides. Hope the last pouch I received was pretty much full of clumps or bark, I got roughly 15rollies out of that pouch. Nit happy at all! The picture provided is just 2 clumps I saved after realising this is a rip off.
Youve changed your packaging, noooo! I cant fit my hand in those new pouches, therefore I have to buy another brand. Disappointed.
Yep me too, can't fit fingers in. I ABSOLUTELY HATE these zip lock bags. Long useless flaps that have to be cut off, and the size! Too small hate them
What is the go with bark and clumps of tar in your tobacco. It used to be good but now you're ripping us off.
Listen ! If your going add large clumps of tar in your tobacco and kill people instantly the least you could is do it for free ...have you seen what happens when people inhale a large blob of fkn tar ! It almost kills ya straight away! I demand compensation ! I'm sick of it .. and I've given you [censored] a very large sum of money over the years ! Make it right .. contract me and send me a box of clean tobacco with no huge lumps of tar in in please !
I am very disappointed in Riverstone tobacco. I recently purchased some a pouch and found hard clumps of TAR, which I rolled up without noticing and choked so hard that I vomitted. Could someone please explain why quality control would allow this product to be put on sale.

I too am often finding different standards in the pouches and massive clubs of black stuff. Weighs just over a gram.

I've been finding hard black stuff through my tobacco. Riverstone has a very nice flavour too though picking through my tobacco and finding stuff like rabbit poop is horrible and if I was to keep it each and every time I would find how much under weighted pouches. Could someone explain what those black clumps are in my tobacco please'?
It’s tar. Riverstone is a budget version of dr pat in my opinion and clumps of tar is in dr pat and I’ve recently noticed every single pouch of riverstone I get contains the same
