Home appraisal
3/3/20 Felipe Molina, was my loan officer. The loan was locked on 3/23/20 The grant that I had didn't allow me to refinance until the grant was paid. I was charged 450.00 for the appraisal. Felipe knew about the grant, and he still had the appraiser to appraisal my house, Home App was done on 4/17/20 He ripped me off! I want my money back. Email, please!

mortgage loan
We applied for a mortgage with Jim Tomczak out of the Silverdale, WA PrimeLending office. We were assured we would close on time, provided every document requested promptly, and were told repeatedly we were "on track" to close. Four days before closing and with no better explanation than a typo on an appraisal, Jim told us we couldn't close on time. The only way we could close in a timely manner (a FOUR day delay), he said, was if we went with a different "loan product" that required less underwriting. Of course this resulted in a 0.5% rate change and an extra $4k in closing costs. We should've walked away at that point, but didn't feel that was fair to the seller.
Today is the end of the extension. More runaround, no closing date. We're losing our earnest money, the seller is losing a sale, our realtor loses their commission, and we're now in a bind because our current home is sold. But Jim gets to move on to the next loan with no consequence for his deceptive (if not illegal) closing week bait-and-switch tactics. Truly sickening.
Horrible Customer Service
On my first contact with this company Donna Reeves was impressive. She was the only one from the mountain of calls I received from various lenders that was courteous and not pushy. We went through the PRE APPROVAL process which now I see was nothing more than pulling credit. After we had a "PRE APPROVAL" we made an offer on a home and that is when it all went to the trash. Here we are 4 weeks after they received the signed offer letter from the seller and myself and we still don't have anything other than extreme frustration. NO APPROVAL but no decline either completely up in limbo. The underwriter has asked for the same documents numerous times even after we have provided them with what they have asked, kind of like they are too lazy to look at all the docs that are in the emails. We are now in a horrible limbo trying to figure out if we should just walk away and lose our escrow money because we are way out of our 10 day cooling off period thanks to PrimeLending. In short, at this time I would follow Donna to whatever company she went to but I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this company that is either severely understaffed to handle what they are taking in or just down right ignorant and rude for wasting someone’s time because they don’t want to do their jobs. Trust me I know how horrible it is to take in more than you can do with being understaffed but that is where you put a priority on stuff based on when it came in. I work for a dealership in the service department and I don’t think I have ever seen anything this bad before. WORST and most WASTEFULL EXPERIENCE ever.

Refinancing
I would not recommend Roger O'Hara with PrimeLending. I gave him an opportunity to refinance my loan and as a family friend, I confided in him to be truthful, swift, and ethical, to no avail. At the eleventh hour, he had me on the hook for thousands of dollars for closing and his manager Rick, supported him all the way to the bank. Not even a year later, I'm having to refinance again. As the saying goes, "It's always the quiet ones."
