PadSplit No heat or hot water or stove to cook

The gas in our house has been shut off since the morning of 10/12. The “host” is not answering PadSplit calls or ticket orders nor is he answering the calls of us. PadSplit keeps talking about escalation of tickets but are not offering any resolve. Now they are to the point where they are giving one sentence answers and hanging up on me. PadSplit relinquishes all responsibility and putting it on the host. I’ve called code enforcement, I’ve come here, and reaching out to media outlets as well. PadSplit has stopped sending normal emails of the summary of our calls, I guess to stop a paper trail. Just called again and no support at all is being offered.

PadSplit Bad house with too many problems

I have been with PadSplit in the same house since December 2022, it is now June 2023. We’ve had way too many issues that were barely fixed or just ignored. Our shower was broken for over a month and honestly seemed like a quick pipe fix, but they took over a month to fix that issue. During the winter, it was extremely cold in the house and the thermostat was set to AC. It took weeks for them to fix that. Currently, our thermostat is broken or just turned off. It’s 90 degrees in the house and has been for over a week in the hot Atlanta heat. Everyone in the house has reported and complained, but they tell us they’ll send someone to look at it. No one has even just simply looked at it yet.

Desired outcome: We would like for the thermostat to be fixed, and I don’t want to be that person but I almost don’t want to pay for the week or two we’ve been uncomfortable and overheating in the house.

I arrived in Atlanta, moving from Dallas Texas on May 9th. I came straight to the home off the road and I was so disappointed with the condition of the home and room. The kitchen and bathrooms were FILTHY nasty and my room had an ORDOR. The room looked to be an old dining room converted into a room because it had no closet just a put together closet...

So on Feb. 5 2022 I moved out of my rented room at padsplit; this had been my first stay at with padsplit. Basically you request a room through the website and initially you have to stay for a set period of time before you can leave without a penalty. After the time you can become week to week or whatever suits you. So for me I decided to be week to week...
