I arrived in Atlanta, moving from Dallas Texas on May 9th. I came straight to the home off the road and I was so disappointed with the condition of the home and room. The kitchen and bathrooms were FILTHY nasty and my room had an ORDOR.

The room looked to be an old dining room converted into a room because it had no closet just a put together closet shelving unit and it was off from kitchen, I walked in from the kitchen.

The room had an horrible odor smell and the walls were dirty. I had to immediately go to Walmart buy a mop to clean floor with clorox to remove the nasty smell. I also had to by a plastic mattress cover for the thin mattress provided.

As I was mopping the room I began to sweat profusely, causing me to notice there was no AIR ventilating through the room. I attempted to open the windows and noticed there were not SCREENS in the windows. Attempted to look for the thermostat outside my room none could be found. Checked the vent in the room which was securely taped. I had to go back to Walmart to purchase a fan for the room.

I attempted to connect my mobile device and laptop to the internet, which would connect then disconnect in the room, however if I went outside the room, the kitchen, I would get a better but weak signal but it would not stay connected. I submitted a MAINTENANCE REQUEST (a joke) immediately for both AC issue and Internet issue MAY 9th, BOTH were closed in a few days with a status of DONE. I submitted another MAINTENANCE REQUEST (a joke) on May 14th BOTH were closed with a status on DONE. I called

PADSPLIT each time I filled out a MAINTENANCE REQUEST as well. They would say, we apologize for the inconvenience we're going to contact the HOST.

Finally on May 18th after another member reported the AIR issue, after speaking, the AIR issue was resolved, this issue took 9 to 10 days after my initial report on May 9th. The WIFI issue has yet to be resolved. I had to go to Starbucks Monday, May 22 because I could not connect to WIFI to work from the room.

Also I emailed the HOST who replied submit a MAINTENACE REQUEST, WHICH I ALREADY DID, Unacceptable.

The property is not well kept and does not look like the pictures provided to the Padsplit website. These properties should be inspected monthly or quarterly to ensure the property stays up to date with cleaning and repairs. It's like living in a flop house or a nasty motel. Also, the offer to for ROOM is a BAIT AND SWITCH! I PAY MY MONEY FOR A ROOM WITH AMENITIES, AC AND WIFI

IS ONE THE AMENITIES AND WHEN I GET TO THE ROOM IT IS NOT A ROOM AND THERE IS NO AC OR WIFI. IN EACH MAINTENANCE REQUEST I HAVE PROVIDED A PROBLEM AND A SOLUTION FOR THE ROOM I HAVE PAID FOR...A PORTABLE AC UNIT AND A WIRELESS ACCESS POINT. NONE HAS BEEN PROVIDED! I HAVE TO GO TO STARBUCKS TO USE THEIR WIFI! UNACCEPTABLE!

I am requesting a reimbursement of half my funds because of the issues that were not resolved timely OR NOT RESOLVED AT ALL. THE OPTION OF Living in my car in the Walmart parking lot would be better than living in one of these FILTHY homes.
