Marina Hwee/Golden Rule Alliance reviews and complaints
failure to deliver email campaign purchased
Marina Hwee took our money for a supposed email marketing campaign. When she didn't deliver the campaign as promised, I and my three partners requested our money back. Not only did she deny my request, but actually hung up on me when I confronted her on the phone with her own ineptness. She then tried to coerce me and my partners with this bogus non-disclosure letter that said she would refund our money if we would: withdraw all our complaints from any online websites and the California Attorney General's office, notify her when the complaints were withdrawn, and provide a notarized copy of each client's driver's license. We all declined her "non-disclosure" agreement. We paid for services that were not delivered. We were due a refund and she knew it. When is the last time a company or merchant asked you to sign a non-disclosure to refund your money for a product or service that was not delivered? What an idiot.
By the way, she and her company have an "F" rating with the California BBB, and when I last contacted them in December 2008 they had 6 complaints against her, 5 of which were outstanding and unsatisfied. I added mine to the pile.
Do not do business with Marina Hwee, any of her company names, and be very cautious if you receive a call soliciting their services from a guy named Joe David. He must be in on the scam also because he did nothing about my complaint when I called to ask him what was going on. Buyer beware.

Took money-didn't deliver
Do NOT do business with this lady or her company. It's a rip off. Everything mentioned in the 12/11/08 post is absolutely true! They took our money, tried to upsell us even before our campaign started, were 10 days late supposedly starting our campaign (we have no proof it actually started), and have produced zero results, won't return phone calls or emails. We should have been suspicious when they asked us to remove our contact information from our websites and would not give us a reason for this request.
Marina Hwee is a scam artist. Run fast from Joe David or anyone else who calls you on behalf of this company.

I totally concur with this assessment. This company and Marina Hwee are both a scam.

Same thing happened to me... She wanted to sign me up for the VIP at $20, 000 for 500, 000 Leads... Fortunately I didn't pay the entire amount. I still lost over $3, 000 and I only received about 80 leads. You are promised that they will give you the Master List - but you will never see it! I asked for it for 5 weeks... She is the biggest scam going!
I should have done my homework before paying a dime to them! However, I do plan on going to the Attorney General and taking action... anyone else want to join in on that?
Services not delivered
Heads up. This is a company who has ripped off and or had a bad experience with dozens if not hundreds of people. The first contact you will receive is a phone call from Joe David. This company, Golden Rule Alliance/Success Power Unlimited, makes lofty claims. Joe claims they have the ability to capture tens of thousands of people wanting to start a home...
