Kelanar Window Pros Not Really a Complaint

I live on the north side of Colorado Springs and had an estimate with Kelanar Window Pros about 1 1/2 years ago. The salesman was very nice and they gave me what I thought was a good price for 11 windows. $15, 400. They start out by measuring your windows and then of course, they want you to buy right then. I didn't buy right then because I wanted to get some more estimates and do some research. The salesman told me that Kelanar makes their own windows in Loveland. I find out about a year later that they don't make windows. They are a dealer for Amerimax. Why do they give you the impression that they make their own? I did find out that Amerimax is a top rated window. It is in my opinion the best window you can buy. It is made in Loveland and it really does do what they say it does. Here's the catch. You can buy the exact same window from Dutch's Home Improvement in Colorado Springs for half the price. You may wonder why I would write this now. I ran into a young man that used to sell me medical products. The company he worked for went out of business and he started selling for Kelanar. He got fired after a week and a half. He is an outstanding young man and in my opinion, he wasn't even given a chance. The moral of the story is this. If you want a great replacement window like Amerimax, buy it from Dutch's. You will get the same service and pay half of the Kelanar price. Amen.

Kelanar Window Pros Beware

Kelanar Window Pros promised us No Payments until June, payments started in January. Kelanar Windows had no interest in fully resolving this issue or refunding us the difference in interest acrued.

Classic Bait and Switch operation. They knew what they were doing the entire time. When I tried to resolve the issue, it took me 8+ months to finally be told we're not going to help you.

Kelanar Window Pros lacks customer service regardless of their "purchased" A+ rating with the BBB. They lack business ethics. They will promise you one thing and under deliver. Then admit fault but have no interest in resolving the problem!

What kind of customer service is that?!? Baffles me how a company can be so dishonest and unethical!

Beware of Kelanar Window Pros!

I didn't get ANY windows installed by Kelanar. Read my other post. I am telling you that you can get the exact same Amerimax window from Dutch's for less than 1/2 of Kelanar's price. Check it out. You overpaid by a lot. Less than 1/2 the price. Customer ignorance comes into play when you do not research the product. A guy knocks on your door one day, the salesman come the next, and you contract the windows. I didn't. I got mine from Dutch's right here in Co Springs after researching the product. They are the exact same window. Less than 1/2 the price. Kelanar works on the "There's one born every minute" principle and they really like people like you. I hope you enjoy paying for your windows. I just wrote a check for my Amerimax windows and was done with it. $12, 000 worth of windows from Kelanar is the same as $4, 000 from Dutch's. Dutch's is owned by some good old American Veterans and I am proud to do business with them. Shame on whoever buys from Kelanar.

BS - it is unethical for you to do business, agree, sign all the needed paperwork with all the stipulations in black and white and still act like you got swindled. I had a salesman come to my house and everything you describe here is what I was told too. Before I signed anything or let them install, I made sure the deal was as promised. Customer ignorance is not an excuse to now blame the company. What I was told about where the windows were manufactured was that it was a company in Colorado so I would be supporting workers in our state. You probably slept through the presentation, had the tv on, dealing with kids, etc so you did not pay attention as you should have when spending the amount that got you in a twit to begin with. I am a satisfied customer but I did my homework and got everything in writing. Shame on you Mary Rouse and RM30.

There is an ethics problem with this company. They say their windows are manufactured in their factory, but it is actually Amerimax in Loveland. Try and get the same salesman to come out 2 months later, he won't be there.

John, the fact is we were promised no payments until June. Calvin called you on the phone the day he was in my home to get permission to do this. You approved, and we assumed everything was good until then. We had a baby on the way, that was the only way we could make this work for us.

If your company is going to promise a customer something, you must stick to it. In my business, I would never tell a customer something, and under deliver. Not even a possibility!

I appreciate you attempting to take care of the problem, and the offer you promised me over the phone sounded to be in good faith, which is the reason I agreed to it even though it was lower than what I should have been reimbursed. But what pissed me off was when I received a lower amount in the mail. And when I called you, you admitted that you made the mistake but refused to fulfill your end of the deal. I feel completely taken advantage of, my family and I feel insulted and disrespected because we believe you did that on purpose. After dragging this problem out for the better part of this year, the least you could have done was live up to your last final promise.

John, how else do you expect me to feel?

Hello, I'm John Poole, General Manager of Kelanar Window Pros. The above customer of ours was fully aware of the loan that we provided to him through our finance options. The consumer has to have some responsibilty here. As banking laws declare, when a consumer is approved for financing, they are mailed their loan stipulations with-in 7 - 10 business days. This happened 2 weeks before we installed their windows. What happens is when some people purchase a no interest, no payment plan, they enjoy it until the payments start. I refunded half of what he asked for, which I thought was fair. Please call with questions
