I enrolled on 08/06/2023. After investigating several graduate programs that I am interested in attending after graduation from Ashworth I found that none would accept a degree from Ashworth College. Because of this I tried multiple times during the first five days to cancel for the "no questions asked" refund but nobody ever answers. I have no doubt thi...

In 2010 I enrolled in Ashworth College Physical Therapy Aide program online. I passed all requirement for the program, test, examines and clinicals as well read the books. Prior, during and after admission my name on the program was Christopher Moore with NO middle initial. The diploma Christopher D Moore. That’s NOT my name and paid in full. Weird

I am a student at Ashworth College attending the Medical Billing and Coding Certificate program. When I signed up for this course I was promised that the course materials (books) would be mailed out on time and there would be an Instructor there to answer questions. So Far I have received 3 of the books on time with no Instructor to answer any question...

Ashworth College Course materials on backorder

I have been enrolled at Ashworth College since 2/23/21 in the Medical Billing and Coding Diploma program. There are 12 lessons and I am currently on Lesson 8 and this is the first lesson that requires additional course material. On my student portal once I registered for Lessons 8, 9, and 10 I got notifications of shipments for all three lessons. For the last 5 days the shipments have not changed, saying "Not Shipped". I can only register for 3 classes at a time, so I can't move on to lessons 11 and 12 until I complete 8-10. I thought by day 4 something would have shipped. I reached out to the professor and I received one email back asking what my student portal said. I indicated it said "Not Shipped" that is the last I have heard from her. I reached out to an "advisor" through my student portal and the first time I got disconnected and the second time they told me to call the "Academic Advisor Hotline" basically an 800 number. No help whatsoever. Then I submitted a help ticket. Received a message back stating basically the course materials are on backorder and they don't know when they will get them in.

So, I had to go through many different avenues to just get a basic answer. No one reached out to help resolve the issue or nowhere does it say materials are on backorder. I am thankful I paid in full and do not pay per month because this is hindering my progress on the fault of the college. I am taking these courses to help advance my career as a RN, but if this was going to be my main career and I have to wait for who knows how long to continue my education I would be even more frustrated than what I already am. If materials are on backorder at least let us know so we are not just sitting here waiting and waiting. I know some of the course materials are actual books, I understand they are on backorder, but one thing I need is an access code to be able to do some simulation electronic charting. I guess the access code is sent through UPS on a card. Why? Make it available through email or the student portal.

Desired outcome: Make students aware of items that maybe backordered and provide other solutions for items that are not books that can be handled via email or through the student portal.
