I attended a Sunday after attending a funeral service the day before just to see how my home church was doing and I am really sad seeing how this church has lost so many members and lost money since rev runnels became the pastor. I joined as a child and we had a greater Shepard rev. dr. lee william craig, and michael runnels became pastor after rev Craig in 1996. Greater metropolitan has no new members and everyone who did join left. I am surprised to see even 20 people in the church anymore his demeanor is terrible to men and women. it appears that the membership is down, money is missing and down and that he has ruined what was once a thriving and great church. I am praying for my church family and love y'all.
I have no complaints for this church-I was homeless and they let me in. They took me in and even payed for all of my needs. The community, friendship, and family aspect of this church is genuinely insane and amazing. They not only did that, but they went above and beyond, making sure I was safe, cared for, had proper food and supplies, literally everything I could of ever needed! The Pastor speaks from God Himself, and his sermons cut you straight to the bone. It's an amazing church, with not just an amazing Pastor, but an amazing community! I rate this church the highest possibly rating I'm able to! God bless this church, and may His hand be upon it forever, to God be the glory amen and amen! :D
The food pantry is a den of demons literally. I came minutes after they officially closed. Due to the fact I was working and also getting my son from school. I heard several people in there. They had time to yell at me and argue with me, but no time to actually help someone in need. This isn’t a church. It is a sanctuary for evil people to feel holier than thou.
