My name is Rethnasamy R Thannimalai, I booked a return Airasia flight ticket for my daughter Cynthia Nanthiny travelling as per information below:

Airline: Airasia
Booking No: MHEH4C
Date of flight: 6th August 2017
Flight No. D7 206
Destination: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Auckland N.Z (Return)
Date of Return: 2nd November 2017
Cost of Flight Ticket: MYR 2002.00

My family and I with my daughter was at the airport at 9:30 pm to board the flight D7206 to AKL departing at 11:55 pm. We checked in at the counter with our web Check in boarding pass and was told that will not be able to board due to immigration problems. As NZ all0ws 3 month visitor visa at the destination point we did not anticipate any immigration problems and neither was I informed at the time I did my online web check in.
Airasia management at the KLIA2 airport refused to board my daughter on the flight to Auckland.
Requesting for a refund of the flight ticket the officers bluntly refused saying that I am not entitled for the refund, When I asked that my return ticket is also included in the price of the ticket they I am not entitled to a refund.
My complaint is if the airline refuse to allow my daughter to board the plane and further had not informed us that she has problems with the immigration during the online web check in and further confiscating the the entire cost of the flight ticket together with the return ticket. This is tantamount to cheating. I would like a fair decision on this matter.
Thank you

The airline companies have no control over the immigration. It is the passenger's responsibility to make sure he/she has the correct visa/clearance to enter the destination country.
