The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Here is a perfect example of how to misuse the Internet. I'm one of Ken Johnson's co-workers and I was there while he was fielding all these Internet porn sights that he was getting on his corporate email. Would any intelligent individual sign up for porn at work? I was stunned by the childish vindictiveness of the individual who did this. After all, Ken simply asked to be removed from his distribution list. We all have that right by law. Right? We get those requests all the time and we are (and need to be) very careful to remove that recipient to comply with the law. This individual who purports to be selling lists to unwary consumers and has no fear of violating the consumer law. Not only does he not follow the law, but seems to have the attitude that the law be damned! And he gets away with it. Even though Ken has published his IP address. That individual is shamelessly aggressive with no fear. Or terribly stupid!

They will E-Mail sign-up w/ your info to PORN sites if you ask to be removed from their mailing list. What an amazing company they are! Now they will take steps to file an unwarranted complaint about you even though I'm not personally licensed to do business in California!

MY ORIGINAL COMPLAINT ABOUT THEM:
I received an unwanted e-mail from "SSC Data Solutions" soliciting their sales leads. I replied “REMOVE ME FROM YOUR LIST”
Within 10 minutes, my WORK e-mail was signed up for at least 20+ internet PORN sites. These sites did the right thing by asking me to confirm my identity and one went as far as recording the IP Address from the computer that this was signed up from. Doing a simple search, indeed my suspicions were correct...the address of 75.82.221.212 was right in the Anaheim, CA area; same as the e-mail address from the unwanted SPAM and the same address listed for SSC Data Solutions!
This company: SSC DATA Services located in Anaheim, CA with an internet protocol address of: 75.82.221.212 obviously doesn't want you to reply, "REMOVE ME FROM YOUR LIST" or else, they'll sign you up for unwanted PORN e-mails!This is extremely unwarranted and irresponsible for them to sign up anyone who refuses to do business with them, especially their work e-mail address!
I have all of the correspondence including the PORN registration requests and their initial e-mail, should anyone want these forwarded for proof.
I've formally filed a complaint with the FTC and their file number is: [protected] if anyone would like to officially verify this. Chances are if they’ve done this to me…it’s pretty apparent that they’ve done this numerous times before and they need to be stopped. I am willing to do whatever is necessary to follow through with this harassment of companies / or individuals doing this. Perhaps with a heavy fine…others will be persuaded not to do this.
