Red Blossom Tea Csan Francisco CA review: Ru kiln teapot #8

Proprietor, Alice Luong of Red Blossom Tea has refused to process a returned item charged for $820.00. Teapot was purchased on April 25, 2022.

Two emails were sent to Ms. Luong requesting a return shipping label. My requests were ignored. After a period of 3 weeks, without any correspondence or response from Ms. Luong, I paid for the return shipment, plus USPS insurance of the the teapot, on May 24, 2022.

On June 1, 2022, Ms. Luong wrote to inform me that the thickest part of the teapot, the neck, had broken off. Other more fragile parts, such as the handle and the lid, were not damaged. The outside of the box was not damaged. The photographs, which she provided, did not show damage to the box, as shipped, nor all of the packing material that had been used.

Ms. Loung declined to assist further. I initiated an insurance claim with USPS. Although the USPS receipt, credit card statement for $1840.00 payment, Red Blossom receipt and photos were provided; the claim has been denied twice due to insufficient paperwork. The USPS Post-Mistress who assisted on each attempt, stated that it was the responsibility of the receiver, Ms. Luong to apply to USPS insurance claim. Thus, any insurance check would be sent to Ms. Luong directly.

Presently, USPS is requesting further information for; "proof of value... from a reputable dealer"; and, "a computer printout of the online transaction... clearly identifying the web-based payment network provider...". Ms. Luong is unwilling to assist with proof of valuation or price paid for the item.

It has been 4 months, without relief and no assistance from Ms. Luong.
