In March of 2021 we had Spencer Allman from Real Time Renovations in Seymour, IN come to our home and install Luxury Vinyl Tile in our kitchen.
Thing went pretty well until the next day when they were supposed to come back and finish up installing transitional strips and fix a few tiles that I was not happy with.
It snowed that morning and I thought because of bad weather they could not make it. I found out they had instead gone to another job in the next town one county over.
I phoned him and told him I expected him to come later that day to finish our job. He refused as he did not want to load up his saw just for one small bit to do here and I jokingly told him that was not going to get him a good review online.
Next morning he appears at my house with a check for a refund on what he thought we deserved for the unfinished portion of the job. He stated he was not going to finish because he did not like what I had said about the bad review I had threatened him with.
Later on when asking another contractor to come in to finish the job we found other areas that he had botched.
He has a business Facebook page but leaving a review on there he can quickly remove it. I did find I had been blocked from his page as well.
Do not get this guy to come and work on your floors. I was very disappointed.
From the pictures below see in first picture that they did not cover up the carpet with the transitional strip leaving the carpet to crumble and unravel. Second picture is of the installation of the last few tiles. They were installed evenly and not staggered like the rest of the floor. I asked them to fix that. I did not discover the carpet into the hall closet until after they decided to not come back at all. Surprised I got a bit of a refund.
