I forgot to add one more thing. If you ask for a business card from the Quill representative. They'll respond, "We'll come back in the area the next time" It's kind of shady and unprofessional of them not having a business card from the actual MHG company and Quill...

To give a warning for people living in the Westchester, New York Area. Quill office supplies is also affiliated with MHG Consulting at White Plains, NY. MHG Consulting is just a sugar-coated company name for Quill office supplies for Reps. They do door-to-door "SALES" Don't get fooled by the sales representatives, They'll convince you to update your exsisting accounts and try to persuade to buy more stuff from Quill. Beware of MHG Consulting, they're representing Quill office supplies. I've heard it's 100% commission with no health benefits working 5 days a week. For people looking for jobs, beware of their job postings from MHG consulting in White Plains, NY.

No, you're wrong Flat fish is not Gina Lewis and you obviously have a very vicious streak! David Walker is nothing of the kind - he is a very clever mathematian who is honourable but exploited by conmen! He has probably forgotten more than you will ever know! What you have said only goes to prove you know very little about this genius! It is very easy to throw mud on the internet especialy when you are anonymous! A face to face would prove the truth! Go on I dare you? Call yourself 'web helper' you sound like everythiing that is wrong on the web, maybe 'destroyer' would be more apt?

Flat fish is more than likely to be Gina Lewis who works for quill It as a personal assistant for David Walker more likely a scam artist. Quill It is a company that like to take advantage of small business's who just want to make a living. They scam people by selling a half working CMS and claim it can get you to the top of Google with no work, this is UN-true and with every CMS product its never that simple to get on the first page, a lot of on-going work is involved in keeping positions and climbing up the rankings. David Walker is the man behind the scam and has a background of business's he had conned the business partners out of millions of pounds. Take my advice stay well clear of Quill It or you will be scammed just like hundreds of other people.

You only have to look at the poor grammar to know most of these negative comments about the company come from similar IQ deficient backgrounds! These complainers need to contact the company first to complain and guess what, they haven't! Suspicious maybe? Bad publicity perhaps?

I would like to share with anyone who has found this page my personal experience with Quill IT.

Firstly though, if a genuine person has stumbled across this page then ask yourself this... Why would you expect to find so many negative comments posted about a company in such a short period of time? Isn't odd how so many found this and all within a very short timescale. Some review/complaint sites may have as many replies as this one has but this would normally be over a few years or so, NOT within FOUR months?

Quill IT are local'ish to me so even though I read all of the comments before parting with any cash I still decided to go ahead and trust this company to do a good job. I am pleased that I did, very pleased in fact. The reason I decided to go with them is because I knew they were within a sensible driving distance should I need to speak with somebody face to face.

As a self employed Electrician I pride myself on providing good customer service. I am quite critical in this area when visiting or dealing with other companies and I am a stickler when it comes to manners and politeness. I can honestly say that the service I received was nothing less than professional and I would definitely encourage anyone to let Quill IT discuss and quote you for the services they have to offer.

Communication during the ongoing process was excellent and the site design was nailed within two attempts. In my opinion that is very good going as it's a hard task trying to grip another persons vision through only telephone conversations or email.

I think there is more behind this page being created and considering I've had such a smooth transaction from start to finish I'd go as far as to guess that someone is acting on a personal grudge. I have one thing to say if this is the case, grow up!

To the genuine people out there, think with your head. Do you believe that so many negative reviews can be posted within such a short period of time and all in the same place? That's for you to decide.

Thanks Quill IT for constructing my website, very much appreciated

@Flatfish Are you an employee of quill or a customer? And what is your connection to Max Media IT? From my dealings they certainly seem to claim they are connected to quill it. I have to say the service i received was not good and some of the conversations i had with staff verged on abusive.

These guys refuse to give me my money back. I looked on their website at example websites for other customers to find out if other people were having the same issue. I called three of them. One was cancelled and the other two don't work with Quill IT. I think like all of you i have been scammed and this way of operating is a disgrace. I still get calls now for my card details to make further payments.

I think you'll find the problems are because Precision Media will not let the customer transfer the domains away from them! I wonder what Precision Media wants with a whole load of ex-client domain names. Good companies always transfer ex-client domains to the ISP of their choice! Precision Media ask for £100 - £200 to do it! Quill do it for free! The problems to their ex-clients are caused by non-cooperation!

I just called MaxmediaIT to find out why another charge was on my account when I cancelled two months ago. They passed the phone around and I could hear them say "I think it's a former Quill account"... Which I wasn't, but I was with Chrome, which was also run terribly with no customer service. I went with maxmedia after various promises, all of which have beautifully vapourized. All 3 companies are in bed with each other. How long before they just change their name again? If you ever hear from someone called Ian Higginson, then hang up. They never honoured any aspect of what they said they would do, they cost me a lot of money, wasted a lot of my time. This company has scam all over it. Also connected to them somehow is Sandila Media.

Quill are not scammers, never have been and are an open honest company using all legal and bona fide registrations in UK! If you look on Companies House they are not connected to Max Media. Quill are not a media company they only write software. This is all nasty malicious postings by suspect jealous persons who cannot write in good English! Why is a certain company copying all our websites?

Very interesting to see these comments! I've just tried calling Quill in my professional capacity as a specialist IT Recruitment Consultant. The MD then went on to verbally abuse me in no uncertain terms, calling me a ###, little better than a pimp and a con artist. Having seen these comments I'm glad that I put the phone down; this is not the kind of business anyone should be working with. Clearly highly unprofessional and (having looked at their abysmally awful website) not very good at their jobs!

All the best for the future, Quill. When you go out of business please don't bother calling to find out opportunities at decent companies :)

It seems to me that these comments are from very illiterate people who obviously know nothing of Quill IT who are a quality software house and only deal with technical software. If the complaints are about hounding sales persons then it is not Quill IT who is at fault. However it could just be malicious comments from the workers of Precision Media eu who reside in Malta and who have had numerous complaints using various company names: such as Matchmaker Marketing, Crystal White, Storm Media. Try looking for Precision Media on www.4networking.biz. The complaints for Quill IT have only started since the websites that Precision Media ordered (there is proof) were not paid for! Surprise surprise!

I've had a Quill site for many years now and am more than happy with it. They have always been really helpful, I get updates all the time and its really easy for me to use. Sounds to me like they are stuck in the middle of some fighting between Precision Media and Maxmedia.
