Pyscology Today review: A counsellor who is listed with you who was unprofessional

name of counsellor is Martin Gibbons. based in Liverpool. I took on his services and met face to face several times. Last meeting a zoom call. I looked for some counselling for myself regarding my self worth and explained the worrying problem I had with my son and daughter-in-law. This counsellor decided that I should meet my family with him and took over the situation to the point of speaking with my family behind my back, without asking me if this was something I would want or indeed never explained that this was the right way forward and therefore ruined any hope of understanding what was actually happening. He admitted speaking to them when asked and said all was irretrievable. Now my only son, daughter in law and grandchild have moved away without any communication, love or thought and I am left alone not knowing where they are.

This is something I find unbelievable and worry for others if Martin Gibbons is able to be in contact with people wanting help and putting trust in him.

This may sound like a very bitter person lashing out as a hurt mother, but I can assure you I am a very caring person who at 65 is now so broken when I only wanted to see if I needed help in a situation I was concerned about before it got out of hand.

I certainly did not expect such an unprofessional approach to a very sensative situation.
