On December 19th my phone interview to qualify for Li-Heap assistance was conducted. I was informed that I needed to provide proof of income and that it was fine to do so in email uploads to [protected]@projectnow.org, which I did on December 27th after having obtained paystubs and the electric bill from our utility company.
Upon calling back to Project Now to inquire if they received my email information, I was told that I should be getting an email to let me know that my information was received.
It is January 10th today, I called Project Now back a moment ago and I was told that none of my information was received and that they had no record of my having had an appointment with them on the phone at all. I called back again and told them the very date I had the appointment with them which I found in my phone records and also the date I emailed the required proof of income and utility bill to them. The representative refused to allow me to talk to her supervisor, claiming all of them are "in a meeting" and also, when I tried to ask her when I will receive any sort of notice that my information was received, she hung up on me!
Desired outcome: Please train your phone representatives not to hang up on people who are just trying to verify that you received their information and I would like to please get help with paying my utility bill as soon as possible!
