Bakersdozen illustrates that these DRI points were conned onto the buyers by this scam of a company and their misrepresentation of the product (duffy talk). To sort it out is very simple -return the money back that was conned from the buyers. Or to put it another way - I WANT MY MONEY BACK NOW!

I do not intend to pay any more money into this points / ponzi system with this useless company. In fact I want all the money I paid for their magic points back! This includes the initial up-front cost for the magic points and the years of maintenance fees conned out of me.
The product - as Mr Duffy calls it - was missold because it was misrepresented by the salesman who told a load of lies in order to get a sale.
I will NOT support their armani lifestyes with my hard earned cash.

It would be difficult to get respectable actors to play the Diamond resorts bad guys in your mini series Bakersdozen. Lets face it, they are lower than the low as they threaten money from pensioners and the frail.
They tell complete lies in order to sell something then they use the signed contract to smother the buyers with harassment for 50 years.
What about using crash dummies for the parts of Mr Duffy and Mr Cloobeck! It would save actors from never working again because of the shame!

Hello all diamond resorts management - I am going to make you all an offer, its an investment, you can hand it back anytime, you can go anywhere in the world at any time, room availability is always there, the yearly fees will only go up in line with inflation - (I will not mention the 50 year type of mortgage arrangement with the points contract, you would not buy them if i did that!).

Some interesting events taking place in the UK courts re misrepresentation and a lack of cancellation rights with timeshare contracts. Keep sending the demand letters, US based phone demands and debt collector demands Mr Duffy. They are all recorded and kept as evidence for later haressment use in the courts.

Interesting post on UK website relating to debt collectors -
To enforce a debt they must have a county court judgement.A timeshare maintenance debt is un-enforcable if you have not received any service or used the timeshare in the previous year.
These are just empty threats hoping that the less well informed will pay.

On a positive note. My neighbours think I am really popular because of the daily automated DRI calls from the states and the debt collectors attempts to talk on the phone. Keep it up lads.
DRI must be really getting desperate for money. Do you think its because thousands of ex-members realise they have been scammed and that any attempt to threaten money from them is just the last wind of a failing compamy.

Kings were attempting to claim back management fees and other monies from said Members.The Judge STRUCK out every claim, and told Kings they were liable for ALL defence costs, and ALL Legal costs."
It seems the LAW does not like timeshare! It also just so happens that this company had the same contract type as the company for this thread. Shame on them!
