I purchased WebWatcher back in late 2008. Their site stated VERY CLEARLY that for a ONE TIME PAYMENT OF $106.95 US Dollars would get you LIFETIME use with no extra charges.

Now I am told I need to pay for upgrades constantly and soon my purchase of 5.0 will stop working completely unless I upgrade. What happened to the ONE TIME CHARGE for LIFETIME usage?

This company is a scam. They attempt to lure you in and then charge extra for upgrades. Upgrades that are called for at least 2 or 3 times a month it seems. THAT IS CRAZY and not good business sense to OUTRIGHT LIE and not abide by their contract which I went into with good faith.
Same here...paid a ONE TIME $106.95 for a LIFETIME SERVICE. That is what was VERY CLEARLY STATED on their site when I made the purchase. Now I have to purchase upgrades or my 5.0 will no longer work.

It is an outright lie and theft by WebWatcher. No where did it say upgrade costs were ever part of their very clearly stated ONE TIME FEE OF $106.95 for LIFETIME SERVICE.

They have the nerve to lie about the cost. That is quite a bit of nerve for the product they sell is down at least 6 or 7 hours per week due to "upgrades"

PATHETIC COMPANY AND PRODUCT
