I have had Fioptics since it became available. I had problems with the Digital TV from day one. Same issues as others have all ready stated. Sometimes I would my signal when Lightning storms went through the area. Had Techs out three times and it still didn't work. Techs replaced all cabling and connections inside the house to no avail. I ended up dropping the TV and just use the Fioptics internet. It stills has issues from time to time. The Fioptics is not FTTH in my neighbourhood. It's FTTN. Difference is fiber optics cable does not run to your house with FTTN. Cincinnati Bell used existing copper wires already buried. Problem is signal loss for various reasons. Wires degrade over time. The farther away from the FTTN connection you are the signal degrades. If you are located at the other end of the neighbourhood you will more than likely have issues.
