Back in August 2011, I was in the market for renting a house. After looking at several properties in the area, my boyfriend and I decided on a nice family house that was managed by Professional Realty Management (PRM). Since moving in we have had nothing but trouble from Professional Realty Management. On the walk-through papers we had indicated a number of issues that needed remeding, including an unstable dishwasher. My boyfriend had also let the maintenance man from Professional Realty Management know about this as well as problems with the air conditioner. He said he would let PRM know. We were never contacted about maintenance coming to look at this or fix it. My boyfriend again contacted PRM about these issues and they said they needed to contact the owner. Again, weeks passed and we heard nothing. At this point, we noticed that no one was coming out to cut the grass or trim the bushes as had been stated in the ad and told to us by the company. We wrote a letter saying that these things needed to be fixed or, as allowed by law, we would deduct the cost of the repairs and gardener from our rent. Two weeks passed and again nothing. By this time our November rent was due and so we had the grass cut and the dishwasher fixed and deducted it. Needless to say, Professional Realty Management came after my boyfriend and I. They have done nothing to try to fix problems with our place and have only continued to demand rent. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

    I agree with your assessment of this company we are owners and clients since 2006, we had a renter since 2006. We recently did our own inspection and finally got in touch with the tenant. She had advised of us all the issues and was advised by PRM that should could not contact us, and I might add that they never had any updated information for tenants such as phone #'s. I took it upon my self and sent a letter to the tenant. At our disgust she advised us of all the issues over the past years which we are in the midst of taking care of ourselves at this very moment. We are thankful we did. Not only is this company a rip off for consumers and renters, they are morally wrong about ever thing. They treated the tenant very badly and would take forever to fix things (and only some things). When we received the call for maintenance we approved the work either the same day or with in 24 hours. We had no idea that she had to contact them repeadly to have things corrected. We are leaving this company but now in a battle over billing for maintenance that they say they completed, but when we inspected what they say they did, it was obvious that never did. I have filed complaints with the BBB and CBE, you know the owner was indicted a few years ago, it is public knowledge check our their licenses on the CA bureau of Real Estate. These people should be placed out of business I'm sure if I check everything back since 2006 we have been rip-ped off numerous times.

    They say they will send someone out to fix things, but they never do, never, but they demand their rent on time. They never came to fix many things in our home, but yet when we were late on rent 2 times in a row they threatened eviction. As per rental agreement they will charge a late fee after 3 days late, but now they sent a notice stating that if you are three days late they are threatening with eviction...after 3 days of being late!!!
