My daughter Lillyana Farias and I recently had an appointment with the Optometrist on 09/22/22 at 9:30AM With Precision Eye Doctor 1220 Columbia Center Blvd Suite H Kennewick WA, 99336 to get our eyes checked and get glasses. During my appointment with the Optometrist Dr. Janis Beck O.D. she told me (Haley Farias) that I have Ocular hypertension bilateral. Dr Janis Beck then scheduled me 2 appointments on October 10th 2022 and October 18th 2022 and told me that I will Have to have a driver because they are gonna dilate my eyes at both of these appointments. I then left my with Dr Janis Beck appointment and called my mom (Karie Reiff) and she told me to call Columbia river Eye Center and make an appointment with ophthalmology. I canceled both of the appointments set by Precision Eye Doctors. My grandmother is blind with Arterial rheumatoid arthritis. This really scared me I'm 31 years old and is old and I don't want to go blind. When I called Columbia River Eye Center at 475 Bradley Blvd Richalnd WA 99352, they got me in to an emergency appointment on 9/26/20 22 at 3 PM to check my eyes. I saw Dr. Andrew Chen with Opthamology at 3 PM. During my appointment Dr Andrew Chen with Ophthalmology he told me that I do not have Occular Hypertension, I do not have inflammation in my eyes, he told me I could use some "TEARS" but no diagnosis. My eyes are very healthy.

Dr. Janis Beck is a fraud. Dr Janis Beck charged me for services I did not need and caused detrimental damage to my personal well-being. Dr Janis Beck charged EYEMED for services I did not need and Charged EYEMED and myself double when I got my glasses, I have the receipt. I can not trust anything that Dr Janis Beck told myself Haley Farias or my Daughter Lillyana Farias. My glasses Haley Farias do not fit my eyes, the prescription is wrong. I have no idea of my daughter Lillyana Farias perception is right, she is only 7 years old.

Is precision eye doctors diagnosis they gave me Haley Farias on 9/22/22

H40.053 Ocular Hypertension Bilateral

H40.023 Open angle with borderline findings high risk

H04.123 Dry eye Syndrome of bilateral lacrimal glands

Desired outcome: I would like Dr. Janis Beck investigated for fraud and investigated for practicing Ophthalmology work when Dr Janis Beck is just an Optometrist.

I had an appt with Dr. Beck 3/19/24. She seemed hurried and not friendly. I've worn contacts for about 20 years but she kept trying to get me to buy glasses too! She also insisted I wear Daily lenses as opposed to 30 day ( soak at night) contacts. I was given trials. She also insisted I get my eyes dilated at a future appointment. I understand the importance ( I'm 73) but felt rushed.

Overall I wasn't pleased with wait times ( an hour) , staff not real friendly and I didn't feel valued as a patient.
