I was uh, conducting market research on the adult film industry when I joined the Porn Star Network owned by Interworld Services B.V. last June. Once my research was complete I cancelled my membership through PSNBilling.com in September and thought I would never waste another dime on them, but little did I know that they had signed me up for two additional websites called ExtraMoviez.com and AmateurNetwork.ca without my permission. I discovered that last night when my checking account looked a little light and discovered $425.20 worth of fraudulent charges for sites I never subscribed to.

To make matters worse I contacted their support people and they won't refund more than 90 days worth of billing even though I proved beyond a reasonable doubt that all charges for those sites were fraudulent. The proof is in the Porn Star Network Terms and Conditions that clearly state "All charges will discreetly appear as PSNSupport.com, PSNBilling.com, EPOCH or CCBILL on your credit card statement depending on the processor." That was fine for the PornStarNetwork.com account I signed up for which was billed to my credit card by PSNBilling.com, but they created two new accounts that were billed to my card as HelpOnlineSupport.com and SupportMembers.com neither of which were on the list of processors specified in the contract. Despite being informed that billing me under those names is a breach of contract they still insist that they can only refund 90 days worth of stolen property because it is their policy.

I even informed them that I would use my skills as a professional SEO to dominate their search results with fraud complaints if they didn't pay back the money they stole, but not even that could persuade them. Hopefully the link authority of Complaints Board and the ability to edit. alter, or delete my work here will help persuade these thieves to give me back what is rightfully mine. In the mean time don't do business with Porn Star Network or any site owned by Interworld Services B.V.

I would go on, but I have get to my bank and have them reverse the fraudulent transactions. Hopefully I won't find a new enemy aiding and abetting these crooks because after being told by a cocky support guy to "contact your bank with regards to this policy" I suspect he thinks he is in the clear, but I think I will be just fine since no matter how long ago that was their policy is null and void under the law when billing people under names they never agreed to do business with.

Oops, the first paragraph of the last comment should have said:

The bank operation failed because among other things they wanted proof that I cancelled the accounts I didn't know about and the only proof I had of cancelling the first one was not being billed by PSNBILLING.COM anymore due to the fact that PSNBILLING.COM stopped billing my card when I cancelled according to bank records because I don't have a cancellation email. I checked my Hotmail account, but it looks like that cancellation email must have been deleted from the junk folder automatically.

Update: The bank operation failed because among other things they wanted proof that I cancelled the accounts I didn't know about and the only proof I had of cancelling the first one was not being billed by PSNBILLING.COM anymore due. I checked my Hotmail account, but it looks like that cancellation email must have been deleted from the junk folder automatically.

The bank also said that their policy for payment reversal does not apply to billing people under bogus names if those names are also owned by the same entity and that breach of contract for using names other than billing processors in the contract is an issue to discuss with an attorney for possible legal action. The problem is that once my 90 day refund is processed they will still owe me $245.50 and that amount is not worth hiring a lawyer over, so the only real legal option if I can't get the bank to take a closer look at the evidence is small claims court or Judge Judy. Unfortunately the company is based entirely in foreign countries which would make them hard to serve with legal paperwork and I doubt they would agree to appear on Judge Judy, so it looks like my only option is payback unless they see the light and pay me back.

Hello, Here is the latest update: I contacted the customer support of Porn Star Network directly. I used the contact form you can find from their Web site. I explained everything in a friendly manner, saying I am satisfied with the service but I feel I have been cheated. I gave them all the illegitimate transactions. I said I am willing to start negotiations how we handle things.
And you know what happened... We made a deal that was even beyond my expectations! And what they promised to do, they also did.
I know most think you cannot negotiate with this kind of business. But that's not true. They had friendly customer service, they responded fast and they did what they promised.
All in all, I am very surprised, actually. I never thought it would end this way!

Hey guys, one update: The cancel subscription site is now working.
I don't know what happened yesterday but after my cancellations, it started to give: PAGE NOT FOUND.
Once you cancel, save all your 3 accounts information as an HTML file.
Now you have some proof that you have cancelled subscriptions.

Oh, and one more thing ...
If you cancel their subscription, you don't get any confirmation email!
I just checked today: 2 cancellations, no email (in the spam folder either).
That's why they prevent you going to cancellation site, once you have cancelled all three.
There's no way you can prove you have cancelled!
(They could continue billing and you have no way to prove you cancelled!)

And please go to site
www.netbilling.com/contactus.php
And give them immediate feedback to cancel their co-operation with Pornstar Network!
Thanks...

Hello guys, here are the instructions (they are f***** clever ###s):

1. First you have to have your username & password available. If you don't remember it, it should be somewhere in your email if you browse back enough. Maybe in the spam folder ?

2. Go to: www.supportmembers.com or
http://www.helponlinesupport.com/

3. Select cancel subscription

4. Select NETbilling

5. Insert your email address, card number, username & password ...

6. Now it gives you your details.Press cancel subscription.

7. Now here's the catch! It gives you a pulldown list where you have 3 choices. You have to select one of the choices. Then you cancel your subscription.

8. And now you have to go back to step 2. Do everything again expect select different site from pulldown list.

9. So you have to cancel all 3 subscriptions separately.

10. And here's the last catch! After you have cancelled all your subscriptions, and you want to go again there to check if your subscriptions are really canceled, it gives you an error message:PAGE NOT FOUND

This last catch is probably done because it wants to prevent anybody giving instructions how to cancel the subscription. You cannot access the site anymore to give precise instructions! It probably stores your IP address or something after you have cancelled your 3 subscriptions.

I'm in the same situation. I keep getting billed for something but I have no idea what this website is and idk how they got my information. What do i do? How do i stop the billing of some $40s each month? This is rediculous! I called the phone number listed and she wanted my credit card information. I refused to give it to her.

I am in nearly exactly the same scenario! Ever since I received a call on the 6th December I have been trying to opt out of what I apparently opted into! The accounts manager answered the first few calls where I requested to cancel my contract as I could no longer view my account and individual calls made during the month, online! Now he is always on the phone and when I request him to phone me back I never get so much as a response which is what all the operators of Business Phones Direct seem to adhere to as well! When my phone bill came in, my 3 mobile phone lines had almost doubled to £55 per month each; I then contacted my service provider, Vodafone, only to be told that they could no longer deal with my account because BPD were now in charge of it! Back and forth, back and forth...! Vodafone told me to ask BPD to phone them and inform them that I wish to cancel any affiliations with them; then when I phoned BPD to do this they said they needed a written letter (not an email or a fax), but a posted letter to terminate my contract with them (that i never actually joined)! Now I have been told that they have contacted a Vodafone representative by personal email who will get back to me in "due course" which I have a very funny feeling will be never! I have no other option, but to seek legal advice and hope that a solicitors letter will scare them into taking action, otherwise I am at a loss!
