Clear card scam. DVDs are not real as they've never been officially released.
Company seems to just register a new domain name every so often to keep moving. No telephone number either.
I had to cancel my credit card.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
They also have an alias site: www.kangaroodvd.com which is basically a front end (with $A) to this other website.
I saw an advertisement for them on amazon.com and reported it as a possible scam website.
Kangaroodvd is definitiely a SCAM. Site located in Canada yet offers free delivery within Australia.
FastDVD.com seems to be their current US site. USA flag on home page, no contact info - just asking you to provide yours. Tried all over web to find info about company or products with no luck - company name/alias? seems to derive from name of ripping software. Drilling down through "guarantees" on FastDVD.com site, Planet Box Set showed up on last page, leading me to this info. They offer "complete box sets" for shows currently only officially released in part, with promise of compatibility in all regions. They also promise to be secure, guarding your info against scams. If you DO discover fraudulent charges on your card, guess what? THEY REQUEST YOU CONTACT THEM *BEFORE* EITHER YOUR BANK OR CC COMPANY! Born yday, but not in the dark! ;-) Oh, boy, my guess is that you should watch out for this bunch!
The dvds they sell are pirated copies recorded from tv. We tried to get the box set for the Rifleman and every episode was recorded from Encore Western. Then when you contact them and advise you know they are pirated and are going to report them, they hang up on you. 100% a scam. The other name for their website is DVDTreat.com
