This college/ University tells me during my semester to graduate, that I cannot graduate due to a 2nd C earned and their said policy, even with a 3.0 GPA cummulative average. Their policy also has where you will be expeled for 2 years after your second grade of "c". When I asked how does this apply to my situation where I have completed all required courses to graduate, and now I cant, I have to return in 2 years and do what exactly?
Their response was for me to retake the elective class I made a C in, in the spring. Anyone knows this is also, additional money I will have to pay, they currently have a teach grant from the federal gov that they are being paid under this semester, and I still have 5k out of pocket to pay them, plus this class they want me to take in the spring, and bottom line, I cant afford. They waived this "strict" policy for me to retake in the spring over 2 years. But when I asked about transfering three graduate classes, they said none of them transfer, and even if they did, I cannot use the class to replace the elective grade of a C.
Anyone can see that this is basically, at the hands of the institution, who want more money from me, and it is becoming discriminatory because there is no policy in place for what they are currently deeming as "acceptable rule" to their actual policy, that does not apply to students in my situation.
This is a mess, and I would recommend no one to attend here. They all work in cahoots, with the exception of one professor, and since I filed a complaint with the better business burea a few weeks ago (that they never responded to), the class I had an A in, I now have a high B, for no reason, and the class I did make a C in, I appealed the grade because the professor was grading on how she felt I should earn in her class. Changing grades online etc, I had screens hot and all, and they still denied my appeal of the course, saying I turned in late work etc.
Desired outcome: My masters degree
