My daughter Jade is 10 years old was joined the program called Jr Adventure for 2 weeks (last week and this week) at YMCA located at Boca Raton, F L. In this program all the kids will go different places everyday from 9-2pm. The consultor for Jade has been forcing and yelling her go to the bathroom everyday before go on bus to the field trip which is I understanding that she might just make sure all the kids is ready, I can tolerated it and just told my daughter to try.

Today July 19th Monday, they are going another field trip to "Wow factory" and it is about 20-30 mins ride distance from the facility to the location. In the morning before get on the bus, her consultor Ms. Katie as usual wants everyone go to the bathroom and Jade as usual told her that she don't need to go and Ms. Katie raise up her voice and told her " either you go to the bathroom or sit at the green chair which is located next to the camp staffing office in the lobby. Then Jade chose to seat at the chair as she requested her to do so. after 10-15 mins later, Ms. Katie had all the kids go on the bus EXCEPT my daughter. She see they leave her behind and then she knock the office door and asked for another consultor to call me to pick her up. The consultor find out she was left behind and immediately using walkie - talkie to contact the camp director Mr. James to stop the bus. Mr. James talked to Ms. Katie and come back tell Jade now she is going and he told her that she not allow to go because she was misbehaving didn't follow Ms. Katie direction. Jade explained to Mr. James the only direction she didn't follow was she don't need to go to the bathroom. When Jade finally have a chance get on the bus to go to the field trip, Ms. Katie still punish her for an hour time out just staying next to her and watching her to play instead my daughter enjoying her time to play.

When I pick up my daughter at 2pm at the facility, she burst out tear and explain to me what was happened and I personally go up to Ms. Katie and confirm that what kind of misbehaving that my daughter had to deserved an hour time out and she answered me that because she didn't use the bathroom as her requested every kids need to go. At this point she still didn't told me they were left her behind at the facility until when we back home later today.

I am really upset that YMCA should be the place that care and safe and have fun for all age especially for the summer camp/aftercare. Parents care free to drop all the kids to the facility to trust them to try their best to protect our children are safe and after today, they left my child behind on purposely because she doesn't go to the bathroom. It doesn't matter what situation, it should not left any children alone and refused to help them to contact their parent if they need.

First of all, I paid for it not something that I use the service for free, second this is a summer camp and all the kids should have fun and enjoy it not feeling fear and upset.

I have couple kids saw what was happen today with Jade at the campus.

How come you didn't just tell your daughter to go to the bathroom and pretend to go? If you had done that, this situation would never have happened.
