I've lived here for over 2 years now, and I'm underwhelmed by the little bit there is to do in this town. If I wanted to go antiquing here, it's not likely the store would even be open, even during normal business hours. Dining choices are extremely limited, two diners, one of which closes at 2 p.m., a coffee house that also closes at 2 p.m. and is not open on sundays or mondays, a mediocre mexican restaurant or two, neither of which is in walking distance, and a chinese buffet that is barely ok. Also, the Pizza Hut here is atrocious, the last pizza I ordered there made me sick. I hear talk of another Simple Simon's, but further away than the last one that closed, and they're moving O'Reilly auto parts to another location, which doesn't affect anything here. The business hours in this town are more suited to farm life in the 1920's, and it's no wonder drug and alcohol use and teen pregnancy are so prevalent, as there is not much else to do in this town, especially if you have no vehicle.
Desired outcome: More businesses, eateries, bakeries, with edible food open during regular (modern) business hours
